We've been debating this off mic, you know, off camera and our personal lives, but you know, we're looking to expand our How Long Gone portfolio, and we've been debating whether, what we should do, and I think we've landed on a boat.
I've been using Yahoo! Scout to make my case for the boat. I've gotten a lot of great information from Yahoo! Scout. It's organized it all perfectly for me, and I have the data to fight you in the squared circle, but have you done, do you have something to bring to the table? Have you been using Yahoo! Scout as well?
Jason Stewart (0:32)
So the host of How Long Gone podcast, Buy a Boat, I typed in R instead of T, and it said, should I buy a boar? And then, you know, Yahoo! Scout was really cranking out a lot of agricultural relevance with livestock farming as an investment, and instead of saying, oh, did you mean a boat? It said, no, I'm gonna give you lots of pros and cons and things that you should talk about if you're trying to win a debate about boar ownership.
Chris Black (0:59)
I'm still focused on the boat. I don't want to get into our financials, etc. I'm just going to put all that information into the Yahoo! Scout and let it spit out all the data, and then I'll present you with a kind of a fully formed idea in deck format, and we can kind of take it from there. But I feel pretty good about this. Thanks to Yahoo! Scout.
Jason Stewart (1:18)
Try Yahoo! Scout yourself at scout.com.
Chris Black (1:40)
We're going to do it, bitch. How long gone? Bonjour, monsoir, TJ.
I'm coming to you from Paris. I'm feeling a little fried, but I'm actually getting pumped up now. Just hearing your voice does that. You know what I mean? It makes me get in the zone.
Jason Stewart (1:57)
Slow down. If I had a dollar every time a mail told me that.
Chris Black (2:01)
Makes me get, I didn't say I'm on chub. I'm just saying, get in the zone work-wise. Okay, get your mind out of the gutter.
Jason Stewart (2:07)
I wish I could. It seems like it's stuck there.
Chris Black (2:12)
It seems like my mind.
Jason Stewart (2:13)
I've tried everything.
Yeah, what's up? Yeah, sorry, I feel bad showing up late with a coffee, but I only made it in the other room. I didn't stop at Blue Bottle.
Chris Black (2:25)
I was hoping you were going to have the Feastable's Liquid Death Peanut Butter Cup, 100% flavored sparkling water. But if that's not available, I guess coffee will do.
Jason Stewart (2:33)
Is that the Mr. Beast collab?
Chris Black (2:35)
That's right. Feastable, yeah, that's right. Mr. Beast got his little paws and everything.
Jason Stewart (2:39)
It's Liquid Death Peanut Butter Sparkling Water. Is that what you said?
Chris Black (2:44)
It's so crazy. It's so crazy. Yeah, it is. So those words should never be spoken together, but alas, it looks like Mr. Beast has done it again.
Jason Stewart (2:54)
You talk a lot of shit on Liquid Death, but I would have thought they would have been above partnering with Mr. Beast, but I guess not.
Chris Black (3:02)
I don't think, I think when you see the Beast numbers, you kind of, some of your shareholders might not allow you to say no to the Beast is kind of the feeling I'm starting to get.
Jason Stewart (3:15)
I would like to think that that Liquid Death, they're so punk, they don't bend the knee to their shareholders.
Chris Black (3:22)
I think that faux punk branding, I think that is-
Jason Stewart (3:26)
I'm imagining three guys who motorcycle kind of biker guys, grizzled, face tats, ex-cons.
Chris Black (3:37)
They ride motorcycles, but they're pristine triumphs where they have their Leica camera over their shoulder.
Jason Stewart (3:42)
Oh, they ride electric motorcycles in Malibu with Diplo's kids, and they have a really fun time.
Chris Black (3:48)
They're actually super fun, and I'm not really into tattoos. My mom didn't like that very much.
Jason Stewart (3:52)
Is, with the young Chris Black, with his kind of, you know, his palate, that was maybe not what it is today.
Was there a time, I know that you're a peanut butter cup enthusiast. You and Reese's have tangled many a time in your life. Is there a time when you would have been interested in the flavor of a peanut butter cup flavored sparkling soda water from Feastables and Liquid Death?
Chris Black (4:18)
I mean, I don't think I had sparkling water until I was probably like 20 So I don't know if, you know, I don't know.
