Coming from CNBC, Anthropic Researcher says AI has more than 10% chance of quote, killing all humans after colleague quits. Yes, yes, Aspie in the back. I have a question. Exactly how is artificial intelligence going to kill all humans? Please explain the process to me for how AI is going to kill all humans. I would like to understand the mechanisms artificial intelligence is going to use in order to slaughter humanity, because it's kind of funny that I don't quite grasp how this computer system, a computer, is going to wipe out humanity. That sounds like something out of a very shitty 1980s science fiction movie, and nothing like how technology stacks actually work.

But anywho, I'm just a geek in a World War II era garage screaming into a camera. I'm not as smart as these tech bros. So yeah, this is a story that particularly pisses me off, because it's like with these stories out there, right? There are stories where I get professionally annoyed with, and then there are stories that actually affect me. And within my social group, within my peers, within the people that I know, this particular story has really taken off, and people are just scared. And it's just giving me a goddamn headache. Dear Normie, dear Normies, can you go back to doing whatever the fuck it is you do in life? Can you go back to being an accountant? Can you go back to being a construction worker? Can you go back to being a police officer and stay the fuck out of technology stacks? I'm not telling you bastards, how do you do your jobs? Stop, stop pretending you understand what we do. Oh, God. But anyways, yeah, we're getting more and more of this out of the AI world, and the Normie press loves to pick it up because it's the things that think, the type of thing that makes Normies really excited, even though it doesn't make a damn bit of sense. One of the things I've talked about for a long time, right, Dario, dip shit Dario. I try not to use that particular nickname for him very often anymore because it's not professional, but fuck it, sometimes I don't want to feel professional. So dip shit Dario coming out and talking about about artificial intelligence is more dangerous than nuclear weapons. And here's the question I have. The aspie in the back has a question. Why do our nuclear weapons have publicly accessible APIs?

What the fuck does that mean? If you don't understand what the fuck I'm saying, put down all the AI material and go back to doing something else. So yeah, anyways, I don't know. There's this hysteria around artificial intelligence right now. And one of the big things that I really want you to be thinking about with any technology, with any technology, right, is there's systems, there's processes, there is mechanisms, right? And all those systems and processes and mechanisms come together to create a solution. And so even if the solution is the extermination of mankind, there's a whole bunch of stuff that has to come together for that solution to play out. And that is just simply not what we're looking at, right? Will artificial intelligence lead to unintended deaths? Absolutely, not a fucking doubt about that. Could it lead to massive amounts of unintended deaths? Oh, hell yeah. Could it end up doing something like starting a war? One automated system triggers off of another automated system, triggers off of another automated system, and World War III starts. And, you know, 100 years from now that people are learning, the kids in school are learning how a condor, you know, was detected as an incoming nuclear missile, and that's how we all got into World War III. There's actually an interesting story about that. What was it? The guy who wrote Bible stories for adults. There's this whole book about essentially how we lead ourselves into World War III. And literally World War III starts because a condor, a condor is mistaken by a radar system as an incoming nuclear missile. And that's when everything kind of goes to hell. Good books. Bible stories for adults. James Morrison?

Morrow. James Morrow. Anyways. But one of the things I want you to understand with all of this stuff, whether you're taking away people's jobs, all people's jobs are going to go away, or you're going to solve science, or cure disease, or kill all of humanity. Intelligence is a single component of the overall system required in order to complete said task. And one of the big problems we have right now with the greatest minds in the artificial intelligence world is they're the most pathetic of fucking human beings. If you tell the greatest minds in the world of AI to go out and touch grass, they will laugh at you nervously. Oh, yeah, I should touch grass. And the reason that they're laughing at you nervously is because they don't actually know what grass is. They are so insulated in their insane little worlds. When you tell them to go out and fucking touch some grass, they don't really have a context to the words that you're saying. And the problem is, is when you have the Drologarchs, who have lost track of the concept of what grass is, trying to build a new world, you get so much of the idiocy that you see in the world of artificial intelligence right now, right? And it's just frustrating. It's just frustrating. But anyways, so this is what's going on right now. Oh, no, right? Some anthropic researcher says, all humanity might die from AI.
