Injuries and bi-weeks.
That's the name of fantasy football in 2026
Injuries have just continued to pile up. Your favorite players, probably out. Your not-so-favorite players are gonna be full and chocked up in all of these start sit questions, and you're gonna be like, why do I do this to myself? That is fantasy football in a nutshell, folks. We're previewing week six, excuse me, not previewing. We are answering all of your start sit questions heading into week six. We've got an early, one more London game here and at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday and a full slate of games. Let's just kick this thing off because man, this injury list is depressing.
Welcome to Start Sit Different Day. As we head into week six of the NFL games, I'm your host, Josh Hudson. With me, Mr. Joel Worth. Joel, we were talking a little bit before the show about my Eagles. And as y'all can see, I've switched up my head gear because, well, the Eagle season is in shambles. But you know what? This is just kind of like where every team is right now. Like this injury list just keeps growing. It's so depressing. Why do we do this to ourselves?
Joel Worth (1:43)
Yeah, it's crazy.
Even like the Packers are having, like not fantasy player related, but they're having some real roster issues just because they're losing depth at specific positions. It just feels like a play go over the league this year. So yeah, it's not creating the best football, that's for sure.
Josh Hudson (2:01)
Yeah.
Joel Worth (2:02)
And they want to go to 18 games. Good luck.
Josh Hudson (2:04)
Well, they want to go to 18 games? Like this just feels like it's like watching the UFL in April.
You know, it's like we do it because, damn, it's football. Love to have football, but like the product on the field just isn't good.
Joel Worth (2:19)
No, it's not. God, it's so like there's a handful of very good teams and then even the very good teams like Minnesota is undefeated, but their offense is really bad. It's just they're playing really good defense. It's like there's not there's no elite teams this year. So if you've got a competitive team, you've got a legit shot to do some damage in the playoffs.
Josh Hudson (2:37)
Yeah. And you know what I mean? Shout out to the Vikings. Like, yeah, the offense is definitely not great.
Kyler has looked more comfortable the more starts he's gotten. So maybe there's hope that the offense kind of figures themselves out.
Joel Worth (2:51)
But all right, is that just playing against the Saints?
Josh Hudson (2:54)
You know, well, you know, I guess time will tell. So there's definitely that there's definitely that. All right. But all right, let's get into the laundry list of injuries. If you guys have any start sick questions, drop them in the chat. We will get to every single one, I promise you. But let's start with injuries because the outlist is, it's long. We'll start with the London game, David Montgomery out with the groin. So fire up your Woody Marks shares. Tank Del, not quite yet ready yet from the knee injury. Let's go to the Bears, Kyle Menungai with a thumb and toe injury. He's out again this week. Lamar Jackson, ankle still not ready yet. Dylan Sampson was activated off of IR, not quite ready yet with the knee injury. For the Jets, Breece Hall, Adonai Mitchell both out. Theo Johnson, dial up your Isaiah Likely shares because he's going to get that 40% target share apparently. Theo Johnson's out, AJ Dillon out. Jalen Hurts with the leg injury. I'm going to talk about him here in a little bit. Saquon still not back yet from the hamstring. Will Shipley, the Eagles third string running back. Foot injury, he's out, was placed on IR this week.
