All right. We have done some redraftables on The Bill Simmons Podcast. We have done everything from 1997 through 2011 We did a couple other ones as well, 18 We did the COVID draft 20 You can find a lot of these on the Book of Basketball Podcast as well. We have never combined two drafts. And Joe House is here, and Kyle Mann is here, and we are combining the 2012 and 2013 NBA drafts because both of them are terrible. And even when you combine them together, you get only six all-NBA guys. You only get three guys who made my top 100 revised pyramid that nobody's seen but me and House.
Only nine guys won a title, but four of them were KCP, Azalea, Crowder and Snell. You have some iconic busts. You have two of the three worst drafts of the 21st century back to back. You have 14 guys who played a combined 20K minutes. You have 20 guys who started 400 plus games. House, the only major thing of this was the last draft diary ever was 2012 Then I was on the broadcast in 2013

No, because I was smart enough not to eat until after I finished the diary. House was not. You can kind of see House dying during the diary. Yeah. House just started eating and that was it. Anyway, Kyle, why do drafts not work? What if you had to give one reason why we have a bad draft? Would you say it's just bad luck with talent? Is there a cluster theory that all of these guys are moving up the ladder and playing together and just not getting better? Because the other guys aren't that good?
