You are now entering the Content Court of the Honorable Judge Ethan Klein.

With prosecution from the Law Offices of AB. Ayad Esquire, and defense representation from Dan Swerdlove, Attorney at Law. Every click counts, and all griffs, online scams and cringe will be delivered at Swift Internet Justice. This is Content Court.

Ethan Klein (0:29)

All rise for the Honorable Judge Ethan Klein.

Ethan Klein (0:43)

Thank you, everybody. You can be seated.

Well, thanks for being here, everybody. The court is finally back in session after a long hiatus. This is important work we do here.

Dan Fucks (0:54)

Thank you. It's great to be here.

Ethan Klein (0:56)

Okay.

AB Ayad (0:57)

Here we go.

Ethan Klein (0:58)

Well, it's nice to see you too, Mr. Swerdlove.

Dan Fucks (1:02)

It's very nice to see you.

Ethan Klein (1:03)

I see you've got some new hardware there on your wrist there. Things have been good.

Dan Fucks (1:07)

I don't know what you're talking about.

Ethan Klein (1:09)

You're wearing a platinum Daytona, sir.

This judge knows when he sees a nice piece of hardware. All right, he's been good. He's been good. And Mr. Ayad, how's practice been?

AB Ayad (1:22)

I'm excited to be back.

Ethan Klein (1:23)

Boo! Yeah.

AB Ayad (1:25)

Fuck this guy.

Ethan Klein (1:26)

All right. Well, we'll get to it. Well, you guys...

AB Ayad (1:28)

Yeah, we'll have it done.

Ethan Klein (1:30)

Bailiff, it's nice to see you. Are you armed?

AB Ayad (1:33)

Always, sir.

Ethan Klein (1:37)

That's more what I was talking about. Yeah. Okay. So, and of course today we have our jury is in session here with four picked and pre-approved random individuals to issue a verdict on the pleading.

Yes.

SPEAKER_6 (1:57)

Oh, let me put these on here.

Ethan Klein (1:59)

So today, my friends, first of all, I want to thank the court sponsor, Balesa.

Wow. I love Balesa.

And well, let's just get this court in order and get this jury on the road. All right. Today, we will be issuing a verdict on Candace Owens. That's right. And next slide. Now, let me give you some background on Mrs. Owens. Candace Owens is a conservative political commentator. She is known for outspoken views on race, gender, culture, and US politics. She rose to prominence through organizations like Turning Point USA and The Daily Wire. She is a highly controversial figure because of her provocative rhetoric and promotion of various conspiracy theories. Candace is having quite a moment, I will say. I've seen her pushing some big numbers on YouTube lately, and people are really tuning in to hear her thoughts. And we're going to find out why that is. But she's killing it. Seven million followers on TikTok, six million on YouTube, eight million on Instagram. This woman is the voice of a generation.

But what is that voice?

Here's some background on Candace. Candace says her conservative awakening happened in 2016, after her project Social Autopsy blew up. Social Autopsy was supposed to be an anti-cyberbullying website. That's ironic. Sorry, but that is ironic.

Candace Owens (3:49)

Feels a little fake and gay.

Ethan Klein (3:51)

Um, that created a searchable database tying people's offensive online posts to their real identities. Wow. She's always been wild, eh? Yeah. But critics argued it could essentially become a doxing and public shaming tool. I don't think that, I don't think critics need to argue that. I think that was just objectively what it was. Yeah.

Critics and fans of the website both agree. When progressive activists and journalists heavily criticized the project, Candace says she became, she came away believing the left were actually the bullies. What a twist. Conservative figures embraced her. Trump's attacks on the media resonated with her. And within a year, she had reinvented herself as a conservative commentator. That's right. Here she is in a high school. Go back one slide there, sir.

Track and field, cheerleading.

Big brother. I feel like she should be against 1984 types of stuff.

Poetry slam. She said, here's her quote, What lies behind us is a small matter compared to what lies within. To my dad for never giving up on me, and my mom for being my strength. To the Cribbins for never letting me give up, and Sean couldn't have done it without you. All right. So she's very fond of fondness for her family and friends there coming out of high school. Next slide, please.

Candace Owens (5:25)

Stop having people scroll through every second of my show, trying to find me mispronouncing words.

AB Ayad (5:34)

Sorry, Your Honor. Occasionally, we'll do that, and it will play on its own. You will have to pause. But I figured just a little video to demonstrate to the court who Candace is, a little of her antics, if you will.
