Hey. I'm great, guys.
Great to be here. I'm on the scene. I'm actually in a bar.

Well, then.
I'm in the Freedom Lounge. It's the Republican National Committee lounge bar, where you come up to the suites, and then it's a whole area here, the Dallas Arena. This is where the Mavericks play. It's a great place. And my bartenders, Brittany and Stephanie, have hooked me up with a shot of Buffalo Trace.

How'd that Buffalo Trace treat you, Tony?

**Tony Samuel** (1:16)
That was good.

Yeah. Hey, it was good.

What's the vibe of this convention? How's the atmosphere?

**Tony Samuel** (1:28)
It's real, real energized, really a lot of excitement, enthusiasm. You know, you might think, of course, I'm going to say that, but it's true. Last night, you know, we went through the speeches. They're great speeches, great speakers. But when President Trump was coming out, it just, you know, the energy level raised about 100 times.
And he was great. I thought he was funny.

**Hammer** (1:52)
Did you like the free money, though, Tony? Like, when you had a Democrat promise to pass out free money, we would be up here ripping his ass. Let's be honest.

**Tony Samuel** (2:03)
Yeah. Well, you know, it's a dividend from the tariffs, 25 trillion dollars by the end of the year. And so, yeah, you know, Republicans are known for giving, you know, tax rebates and giving folks some of their tax money back. And and I think we all deserve it. So I'll take it. I hope you guys.

**Hammer** (2:27)
I mean, I'll take the money if you have it to spare. But you're 40 trillion in debt. And then this would add another trillion to it. Like, I'm OK if the state of Indiana says, guys, we've taxed the hell out of you. We've got a surplus. We're going to pass it back to you. That's great. You got a surplus. 40 trillion in the hole doesn't sound like a surplus, Tony.

**Tony Samuel** (2:49)
Yeah. Well, I think that the rationale here is that, you know, there's a lot of investment coming in into the country more than the previous presidents, previous administrations. Trump talked about that. 2.1 trillion dollars in new investment here since he's been president. And then with the tariffs, I want to say 25 trillion is the number that he said will be coming back from all the tariffs, all the renegotiated trade deals. And people are critical of the tariffs because they don't, you know, the Democrats try to confuse us and say that's the reason for the inflation. The inflation started with Biden and all the money that he was throwing into the system during COVID. And that was another con, another scam of COVID. And that increased the inflation rate. And we're still trying to get out of that. But back to the question that you asked, it's coming from the better trade deals. And so the American people deserve some of that.
It's his rationale. And I agree.

**Nigel** (3:53)
Tony, can we switch gears just for a second here? I'm watching some live footage outside the convention there in Dallas.
And there's like protests. But it doesn't seem to be that massive at all. Have you seen any sort of anti-GOP protests at all outside the convention at all?

**Tony Samuel** (4:19)
No, I heard some people talking about it. I didn't see it on my way in today or on my way tomorrow. Of course, there's going to be, you know, there always is.
But I think, I don't know what, you know, the press is saying about it. I haven't been able to watch that. It's not much.

**Nigel** (4:37)
I don't think there's that much they could say about it. I am watching a contingent of people on a live footage here, but whatever, you know. I mean, you're going to have that either way.

**Tony Samuel** (4:52)
Yeah, and there's, security is great here. You know, the perimeter, you feel safe inside and you get, you know, off a bus, like I did yesterday, today.
