SQUIRREL on the Loose During MLB Game

Last night, there was a Major League Baseball game between the Tigers and Orioles. And at one point, a squirrel runs on the field.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:08)
Squirrel!

**SPEAKER_1** (0:10)
And they stopped the game because the squirrel's running around the outfield. It's around one of the outfielders. And it took the entire Tigers grounds crew to try to catch the squirrel because he kept running in between legs and getting out from towels. At one point, the outfielder tries to use his glove to scoop up the squirrel.
And after it's all said and done, the umpire jumps on his replay microphone, thanks the grounds crew. And because he's the umpire, he gets booed for it. Jason Benetti has the call.

The chase for the squirrel is on.

The squirrel is in the corner. And the squirrel is ill eluding an entire horde of grounds crew members. And the squirrel is free once again.

Hemmed in.

No, I won't be hemmed in.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:58)
I have freedom on my mind.

Trying to go between the legs. And eventually, he gets away again.

And hops through the towel. And hops through another towel.

The force field is activated. Towels can't stop him or maybe they can.

That's Bill Miller, the group chief. He just got on his bike to thank the grounds crew and got food. He took 67 of them to catch one squirrel.
