The Hammer and Nigel Presents is this, anything, anything.

**Hammer** (0:06)
It depends upon what the meaning of the word is.

**Nigel** (0:10)
Yes. Is this anything?

**SPEAKER_3** (0:14)
All right, let's rock and roll.

**Nigel** (0:15)
Yeah, brought to you by Indiana Unclaimed, a program presented by the Attorney General's Office right here in Indiana. The Attorney General's Office reuniting Hoosiers with over one million dollars in Unclaimed property every single week, fast, easy, and free to search at indiananunclaimed.gov.

**Hammer** (0:37)
And yes, we got producer Allison's camera now up on the YouTube stream.

**Nigel** (0:42)
There she is, the special lady.

**Hammer** (0:45)
So Nigel, we're going to start with an update to a story that we had yesterday that's brutal national anthem performed by Motown icon Martha Reeves.

**Nigel** (0:57)
Oh, no, I thought this was fake, dude.

**Hammer** (1:00)
This was the front of Martha and the Vandellas iconic Motown group.

**Nigel** (1:06)
Yeah, lots of hits.

**Hammer** (1:07)
Heatwave, among others.
She did this brutal national anthem before the Women's Pro Baseball League opener. And needless to say, this went viral.

**Nigel** (2:06)
I mean, that is just the best. I could do that.
If you want to, you and I could go.

**Hammer** (2:22)
Randy Watson, just drop the mic and walk off the stage. Okay, so here's the excuse.

**Nigel** (2:31)
All right, oh, there's an excuse.

**Hammer** (2:33)
This is the update.

**Nigel** (2:34)
Do we have an update here?

**Hammer** (2:36)
Martha Reeves, 85 years old.

**Nigel** (2:39)
Okay, that doesn't factor in. It doesn't matter how old you are. You gotta know how to sing the national anthem.

**Hammer** (2:44)
Release this statement. It was an incredible honor to be invited to perform at the inaugural Women's Professional Baseball League event. The field conditions were wet and windy, and without stage monitors, I wasn't able to hear myself as I normally would.
Are you buying this? Is this anything?

**Nigel** (3:04)
This is nothing, I'm not buying it. There is no way. There is no way monitors could have improved. What you heard coming out of that woman's mouth.
Like, it's wet? It's wet, and I didn't have monitors. That was our excuse.

**Hammer** (3:29)
I could have went up there and made fart sounds with my mouth, and that would have sounded better than that woman's anthem.

**Nigel** (3:36)
The Rockets! 85 years old, guys.

**Hammer** (3:39)
85

**Nigel** (3:40)
No, no, no, no.

**Hammer** (3:40)
No, no, no.

**Nigel** (3:42)
You've got to... There's been plenty of 85 year olds, I'm sure, that have sung the national anthem. Oh, have there been? Much better.

**Hammer** (3:49)
I saw 77 year old ACDC guys kicking ass in Nashville.

**Nigel** (3:55)
Oh, that's right.

**Hammer** (3:56)
And they still got it, man. We're getting ready to do another show in Notre Dame.

**Nigel** (3:59)
But you know what, Hammer? Brian Johnson had his monitors.

**Hammer** (4:04)
Oh, OK. That's what it was.

**SPEAKER_4** (4:06)
It also wasn't wet, OK?

**Hammer** (4:09)
That's right. What the hell does the ground condition have to do with your voice? Well, it's wet on this grass. Well, I normally sound like a songbird, but now...
What the hell does that have to do with anything?

**Nigel** (4:24)
Oh, that was so brutal.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:27)
That's...

**Hammer** (4:28)
That is an excuse, my friends.

**Nigel** (4:30)
Allison, is somebody calling in right now that wants to talk about this? Answer that if somebody does.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:34)
If somebody...

**Hammer** (4:36)
If somebody can defend this, by all means.

**Nigel** (4:39)
I just want to see. I'm just curious.

**Hammer** (4:41)
Is this anything? A man in Pennsylvania posted a video about his IHOP pancake problem.
You can see through every hole in the pancake. It appears they mixed the batter wrong. Let's take a listen.

**SPEAKER_4** (4:57)
I went to IHOP today to get a short stack. Upon opening my container here, I'm looking and it looks like it was just two pancakes in here, which kind of had me confused. But the real problem was because they're so thin. This one's practically see-through. There's nothing buttermilk about this. Like I bit into it and it tasted like bacon soda. This is a short stack. I pay $8 for three. Worse than out of the box tasting pancakes.

**Nigel** (5:23)
What are your expectations when you go to IHOP?

**Hammer** (5:26)
A fight. Waffle House, IHOP, Denny's, all three of them, I expect a fight.

**Nigel** (5:32)
All right. I don't have huge expectations when I go to a place like that. So I'm just happy with what I get. But having it was described as he could see through every hole in the pancake and it tasted like baking soda.
