**SPEAKER_1** (0:02)
Tenderloins, Euker, Basketball, Indiana Stuff.
**Nigel** (0:10)
Yeah, Hammer, tell me how you feel about your Euker partner, Rod Bray, exiting, planning his exit out of the Pro Tem role in the state senate.
**Hammer** (0:20)
You were gone on Friday.
**Nigel** (0:21)
Yeah, that was the big news.
**Hammer** (0:23)
I celebrated by going full Jesse Spano. I'm so excited.
**Nigel** (0:28)
I'm so excited.
**Hammer** (0:31)
It was good news. And the thing that cracked me up again, that brought a smile to my cold, dark heart, is all of these establishment butt sniffers on social media. We're taking notes of all the people mocking Rod Bray.
Hey, take a picture of me. Put it on the note. Staple my picture on the note because I am glad that bought and paid for goon is stepping down.
**Nigel** (0:57)
What are they planning on doing with the notes that they're taking?
**Hammer** (1:00)
That's a great question. I don't know.
I have no idea. As far as I'm concerned, they can wipe their butt with it.
**Nigel** (1:07)
That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The dumbest threat I've ever heard.
**Hammer** (1:11)
We're taking notes.
**Nigel** (1:13)
I mocked Rod Bray, but now I'm getting notes taken about me. What should I do now? Delete my social media account?
**Hammer** (1:19)
Oh, no. Abdul might be mad at me. Oh, no.
I take that as a badge of honor.
So as a result of establishment McGee stepping down from his leadership role, the worst kept secret in the state is out that state Senator Chris Garten is interested in the gig. You've heard this in the newscast throughout the day. We told you about this before. He was very much in favor of the redistricting in the state of Indiana. Yeah, very vocal about it. One of the few Republicans that actually showed some testicular fortitude that said, We got the power. We got the hammer. Let's use the hammer.
**Nigel** (2:00)
Tell you become great, man. Hang your balls out there.
**Hammer** (2:03)
That's it. That's it, man. And Chris Garten does that.
He has officially announced his candidacy for the Indiana State Senate pro tem, declaring he wants, quote, decisive leadership and unapologetic conservatism. He also said he intends to appoint Indiana State Senator Eric Koch, a Republican from Bedford, as the majority floor leader.
Now, to reset why there might be somebody listening for the first time and wondering, Wait a minute, you're a Republican. Why are you always bashing Rod Bray? Oh, because he sucks.
That's number one. Number two, this was a guy that I really believe had no interest at all in meaningful property tax relief. So the oldest trick in the book is he would take some of his elite butt sniffers that would do everything that he wanted because they thought they would be next in line. People like Scott Baldwin put them in high profile committee positions to squash and kill everything.
They think we're stupid and don't know what's going on. That's exactly how all of this played out because they didn't want to do any work. They didn't want to make any cuts. So they thought, well, screw it. At least Baldwin's company can allegedly make a bunch of money off this and screw the taxpayers. To me, my opinion, that's how all this played out. But keep in mind, you got Rod Bray, who was against constitutional carry. He was an outspoken pain in the ass about it until the NRA threatened to stop writing checks. And then all of a sudden, he saw Jesus. He saw the light. He turned into Guy Relford after that, when those checks almost started coming to an end. He became the gun guy Rod Bray.
And then of course, the redistrict debate. Well, the constituents say, you don't want this.
**Nigel** (3:57)
So mad.
**Hammer** (3:58)
Who, what constituents? Marion County, the east side of Indianapolis. Is that who you polled? Because if you polled anybody else around the state, most people would have been in favor of firing Andre Carson. Most people would have been in favor of picking up an extra seat, especially when you see the rise of some of these socialist morons doing ridiculous things around the country. Got to protect the state.
**Nigel** (4:20)
Didn't, by the way, didn't Rod Bray, if I'm not mistaken, got a goodbye kiss from Donald Trump on social media.
**Hammer** (4:28)
He sure did. He got the Glasgow kiss, which, if you remember from my trip overseas, that's basically a headbutt to the face.
So, yeah, Garten is in it to win it. He's going to be one of the guys. I still think Baldwin is probably going to try to run for this thing. But replacing Rod Bray with Scott Baldwin is like that gif of the old guy in the purple shirt getting a gift. And it's the same shirt that he's wearing. That would be replacing Rod Bray with Scott Baldwin. It's the same dude doing some Indiana stuff here.
