Sometimes we get criticized around here for being too adult-heavy. The content can get a little too extreme for younger listeners. And with so many kids going back to school today, we thought this would be the perfect time to roll out another edition of Hammer and Nigel's Fun Facts for Kids.

When most predators, like hyenas, eagles, and leopards, are in the wild, and they want to tear an animal wide open, they start by ripping open the anus.

That's not a fun fact for anybody, much less a child. A frog cannot throw up. Instead, it averts its own stomach and then packs the entire amount of vomit back into its body where it just sits there, tastes bad and smells.
