About a year.

About a year, okay. Tell me a little bit. So I just found out that, what do you do? What do you do with your bird?

**Eric** (2:31)
Oh, I'm a falconer.

**Jason** (2:32)
He's a falconer. Have you guys ever heard of this?
You have, that's great. I haven't, so thank you. But I found out this morning, he has a falconer, what is it, falcon?

**Eric** (2:42)
It's a hawk.

**Jason** (2:42)
It's a hawk, but you're a falconer.

**Eric** (2:45)
I'm a falconer, that's the title.

**Jason** (2:46)
Okay, I got you, okay.

**Eric** (2:48)
It's a hobby.

Tomatoes, tomatoes, my friend. Tomatoes, tomatoes. But the bird sits in the living room and watches football with him. Come on, somebody.
That's amazing, bro. Isn't it crazy? Anyway, that's not why we're up here. Can you tell us a little bit about what life was like before you came to Real Life Church?

**Eric** (3:07)
I just kind of had a habit of making life hard on myself, man. I wasn't good at dealing with negative emotions, wasn't awesome at relationships, but this place has changed that. Jesus has changed that for us, so it's been pretty awesome.

**Jason** (3:24)
Tell me how Jesus has changed that for you.

**Eric** (3:27)
Mainly just with anxiety. Myself, I would get scared, overwhelmed, stressed out, and then that would turn to anger, and it wasn't great for, wasn't a great example for my kids, wasn't awesome for relationships, but, and I've never been able to really get control of it until now, so that's how I know God's real, is finally conquering that through him.
