All right, Hammer, headline from WTHR.
Faith leaders call ice raids a crisis.
OK. Religious leaders saying families are now too afraid to go to church, the grocery store, the doctor. You can't. And they're demanding. They're demanding. People are demanding that the city develop a safety plan and provide constitutional rights training. This is all, I mean, we were talking about this last week, some of these, some of the ice raids that we were seeing across the county, across the middle of the state here.

First of all, good for ice.
Second of all, I think it's real interesting that all of a sudden now, some of these faith leaders, local politicians, council members, state reps, they're concerned about people not feeling safe going out at night.
Have you been to downtown Indy after hours? Because this same conversation has been going on for a while. I'm not saying that if you are a neighborhood where it's predominantly illegals that live there, you shouldn't feel scared. I'm not going to tell you how you should feel. But don't try to make this sound like all of a sudden, this is coming out of left field when people have been saying for years, I don't feel safe going to the east side of Indianapolis after 8 o'clock. I don't feel safe going to downtown Indianapolis after hours. I mean, I get it. But let's not act like this is brand new. And all of a sudden, only ice is causing this feeling.

It's not brand new. I saw stories of businesses shutting down over the weekend, over the long holiday last week. And that just tells me that if businesses are shutting down because they are scared of ice, that the businesses are employing people that aren't supposed to be here. Right. The businesses are taking advantage of people that aren't supposed to be here.

**Hammer** (2:17)
And you know me, Nigel, I'm a gambling man. I'm willing to put some dollars down that says these businesses are not paying what the left would call a living wage to the illegal folks that they're employed.

Kickback. Right. Is another word that comes to mind.

**Hammer** (2:33)
It's just wild that ice comes in to arrest people who are not here legally. It's called a crisis. Yet all the black on black crime, all of the nonsense that takes place in the city on a nightly basis goes ignored.
That's the thing that bothers me. I live here. I live in Marion County. And even though the homicide rates are down, thank you, Constitutional Carry, homicide rates are down. Crime numbers are down as a whole from the record level.
Doesn't mean that things are great. But yet ice comes to town and everybody wants to lose their minds. It's so selective outrage, if you will. That's what it is.

I mean, I've seen council members posting memes on social media. What to do if you see an ice agent?
Did you ever see Jesse Brown or Frank Mascari from the council ever share information on social media? What to do if you're carjacked in Indianapolis?

No, of course not.

What to do if you're held, you know, at the ATM with a gun against your head in Indianapolis? I don't think I ever saw those memes get posted. But now, all of a sudden, ICE comes in for just a couple of days or raids, and everybody wants to be Mr. Helper. Somewhere, Samuel Kennison doing his character from back to school. Oh, I didn't know you wanted to be involved in the discussion, Mr. Helper.

It's Tariff Day. You woke up today. Oh, short week. It feels like a Monday, but it's a Tuesday.

I knew something was different. It's Tariff Day, Tariff Day.

Canada hooked up some retaliatory tariffs and they took place at 1201 Last night, Canada, in response to Trump's tough talk on tariffs, began at 1201, up to 50 percent tariffs on milk, steel and aluminum, cheese, paper, household appliances. Tech, tools and industrial equipment.

**Nigel** (4:50)
Really holding America's feet to the fire with that tariff on cheese.

**Hammer** (4:55)
Right.
Meanwhile, President Trump, who's threatening to ban Bombardier jet sales in the United States until Canada is willing to negotiate, up to 50% US tariffs on these Canadian goods. Wine, alcohol, hockey equipment, cement, energy, fish, minerals. Trump also going out and saying, look, Canada needs us a hell of a lot more than we need them.
