Hammer and Nigel.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:01)
You believe these characters?

**Nigel** (0:02)
They're weird of us.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:03)
So let's rock!

**Nigel** (0:05)
Yeah, Hammer, the dignified transfer took place at Dover Air Force Base earlier today, watching our servicemen and women, our deceased servicemen and women killed in the line of duty being transferred off that airplane was tough to watch. And I mean, especially when you consider how young they were, all 30 years of age and younger.
And there were four today that were transferred. And you watch the precise and meticulous movements of the actual transfer from that cargo airplane, that military, that air force, that giant, that cargo plane into the vehicles is something to behold. And it's difficult to watch, but you got to do it. It's something you have to watch.

**Hammer** (0:54)
It never gets any easier.

**Nigel** (0:56)
No.

**Hammer** (0:56)
Watching that. And listen, if we're all being honest with ourselves, this won't be the last time we're going to see this, unfortunately.
President Trump was there. Secretary Hegseth, General Dan Cain, among others that were in attendance there. It's important to remember who the victims were. And I want to make sure we say the names of these victims. Lieutenant Tyler James Frien, 25 of Hawaii. Private Isabel Gonzalez, 19 of Texas. Sergeant Angel Rampersad of New York. Sergeant Michael Swinton of North Carolina. Those were the heroes that were brought back home at Dover Air Force Base earlier today.
And for those who want to make this a big political moment, and I get that, the president doesn't always attend these dignified transfers. Somebody from the office always does, but it's not always the president, because we talked, I think it was yesterday or the day before, when they thought this was going to take place before they delayed it, that Joe Biden was catching flak from looking at his watch.

**Nigel** (2:13)
I remember that.

**Hammer** (2:14)
The last time that he went. And we'll get into that here in just a moment. I think JD. Vance attended the previous dignified transfer, along with Secretary Hegseth.
Trump was doing another event, and he caught a lot of heat for that, for not attending that dignified transfer. But the real reality is, it's not always the president, but somebody from the office that attends these. But Trump was there earlier today and had a message to the families.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:47)
All I'm going to say is, we love you, we love your child, and that's what they are to them. They're their children.
There's no games, no nothing. That's their child. And all you can do is throw out your heart.

**Nigel** (3:02)
Met with the families, like, three hours, for about three hours before the ceremony and the transfer.

**Hammer** (3:07)
Yes. And again, these things just break your heart.
What we were referring to earlier was when gold star father, Mark Schmitz, who lost his son in the botched Afghan withdrawal that took place when Biden was the president. That was the situation where Biden did attend the dignified transfer.
But it probably would have been better if he just would have stayed home because he kept looking at his watch like he was bored repeatedly, and the cameras picked up on that. So I guess, you know, if you're going to have a debate, what's better, the president not showing up and sending somebody from his office or whoever you send, whether it be yourself or somebody else looking bored, like you would really, literally rather be doing anything else in the world than honoring these individuals. There's not a good answer either way, to be honest. But this is that clip I was talking about. This is gold star father Mark Schmitz ripping Joe Biden for continually looking at his watch when his son was brought home.

**Mark Schmitz** (4:17)
Our so-called leader can't seem to even utter their names in public, not even once. We have seen what's going on in your family, and even worse, we've seen how you've been treating us as gold star families. And there couldn't be anything more disgusting and cowardly than the way you have treated us. You are a disgrace to this nation.
You have no business having ultimate command over our military. And I regret not saying that to your face when I had the opportunity in Dover. I felt it more important to bite my tongue, but I also had more important things on my mind at that time, like receiving my son's lifeless body stateside. While I stood there on the tarmac, watching you check your watch over and over again, all I wanted to do was shout out, It's too 30, you asshole.
