Just real quick, the odds are in, and it's either the Warriors or the Cavaliers right now as the top two destinations for Lebron James.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:30)
So I'd rather it be the Cavs again.

**Craig Carton** (0:33)
Make of that what you will. Third time in Cleveland. And the other big question today is, how many more losses in a row for the Yankees for Big Mac to refer to it as a June Swoon?

**Chris McMonigle** (0:45)
A June Swoon.

**Craig Carton** (0:46)
Does it have to be series losses, or can it be 6, 7, 8, 9?

**Chris McMonigle** (0:52)
I'm just saying, if you're going to call it a swoon, don't you think you'd have to lose back to back series?

**Craig Carton** (0:56)
I think that helps.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:58)
No, no, no.

**Craig Carton** (0:58)
The swooniness?

**Chris McMonigle** (0:59)
Like, it's not long enough of a-

**Craig Carton** (1:00)
And they've lost 5 straight games, and they're not competitive.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:04)
They've lost 5 games. Yes. No, yesterday they were competitive.

**Craig Carton** (1:06)
4-1 team won to the Detroit, right?

**Chris McMonigle** (1:08)
4-1 team won to the Detroit. The other night when they were leading in the 10th inning, they were competitive. That's fair. I mean, it's not like every one of the losses has been non-competitive.

**Craig Carton** (1:15)
That's fair.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:15)
Last night was non-competitive, totally agree. And the offense has been absolutely atrocious. No one's hiding from it. I'm not saying it's not. It's been historically bad.

**Craig Carton** (1:23)
Are you at a point now where if the Yankees go down 2-0 and you're winning after 1, you're like, game's over? Are you there yet or no?

**Chris McMonigle** (1:29)
You start to feel that way, yeah.

**Craig Carton** (1:30)
A little bit, right?

**Chris McMonigle** (1:31)
Against Schuylkill tonight, if Schlittler gives up 2 runs in the first, I'm going to be very down. Yeah, it's going to feel like that.

**Craig Carton** (1:36)
Like emotionally, it's going to feel like a wrap.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:37)
Yeah, it's going to feel like that. Is it? No, not really. But yes, of course we'll feel that way. And again, does it really matter what a swoon is and what a swoon isn't? No, it's not. They're 1 game or 1 1⁄2 games back of Tampa Bay.
A big series coming up and I think it's important to win the division. I don't get too hyperbolic about it. I don't think that this is now the end. I don't think this is just part of the same script, so they're guaranteed to have the same ending. I don't buy into those. I don't speak in definitive. The Yankees aren't going to absolutely lose the World Series and do the same thing because Boone's their manager and they found themselves having a mid-season slump yet again.
I'll just never buy into that. Each team is different. Each year is different. This team absolutely has an opportunity to go win the championship and they're going to look different. Right now, currently, they're not playing well enough and they have a big series coming up against Tampa. I think that's really where all my attention is geared because I don't want to lose this division.
I think it's very important to the Yankees' chances of winning that championship that they win the division. And if they continue to lose going into that series and then get beat up in Tampa, it's going to be hard to win the division. So that's why I'm concerned right now. And that's why I turned to two guys. Tonight, I'm looking at two guys because the line up's already out. And this Pitch Try preview is brought to you by California Cryobank, Help Build the Dynasty, Become a Donor with the World's Number One Sperm Bank. And we talked about it earlier. Against Scubal, the line up is not going to have Bellinger in it. The line up's not going to have Jazz in it.
The line up's going to have Schumann in the outfield. Jones, who's never hit left-handed pitching at any point in his career, minor leagues anywhere, has hit left-handed pitching going up against the best left-handed pitcher in baseball. So, right now, I'm looking at two guys. I'm looking at the future to be the present right now. Ben Rice and Cam Schlittler have to step up tonight.
