Yeah, yeah, oh man, I'm looking so, looking forward to this episode today.

You know, we got one of our good friends and.

We do.

**Will Pena** (1:05)
They say we are a product of who we hang out with.

**Ron Arenas** (1:07)
Yeah, that's right.

**Will Pena** (1:08)
We're just discussing that right now.

Yeah, that's what our moms used to tell us when we were little.

**Will Pena** (1:11)
Yeah, yeah. And you know, I'm happy to say that James Piper is mom approved.

**Ron Arenas** (1:17)
Yes, he is.

**Will Pena** (1:18)
Yeah, welcome to the show, buddy.

**James Piper** (1:19)
Thank you, man. Thank you. I'm surprised mom approved me, but I'll take it.

**Will Pena** (1:23)
Yeah, well, you know, she held a little bit back that you were wearing a Cubs hat, but you know.

**James Piper** (1:29)
It wouldn't be the first mom that had that effect. They'd be like, why a Cubs fan? Right.

**Will Pena** (1:36)
Yeah, no, but no, I'm looking forward to the day. We're going to be discussing a little bit of a little bit of the soccer game last night, right?

**Ron Arenas** (1:43)
Yeah, we went in and saw the soccer game together. You know, we didn't go to Levi Stadium and see the soccer game.

**Will Pena** (1:48)
But while we were going to, but we missed our flight.

**Ron Arenas** (1:50)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right.

**Will Pena** (1:52)
What happened?

**Ron Arenas** (1:52)
I think you forgot to buy the tickets. Oh, yeah.

**Will Pena** (1:54)
Well, then we didn't have tickets for the actual game.

**Ron Arenas** (1:57)
That's true. That's true. We just instead stayed at a local watering hole with a bunch of big TVs and some cold suds to refresh us.

**Will Pena** (2:08)
Yeah, with some good food there too, by the way.

**Ron Arenas** (2:10)
Yeah, it was.

**Will Pena** (2:11)
Yeah, I'd say the name of the place, but they're not sponsors. So maybe someday.

**Ron Arenas** (2:17)
Maybe someday, yeah. Yeah, we'll look into that. Yeah, they would be a good sponsor.

**Will Pena** (2:22)
Yeah. So last night's USA game.
We got to watch that and I'll be the first to admit here. That's probably the first soccer game I've ever sat from beginning to end.

**Ron Arenas** (2:33)
Really? Yeah. Okay.

**Will Pena** (2:35)
Yeah. Because you know, and you know, I was asking a lot of questions last night during this.

**Ron Arenas** (2:38)
Well, I'm glad that I could be there for your experience.

**Will Pena** (2:42)
You couldn't answer half of them though.
So I think right around about the midpoint, didn't I remember me saying, God, I wish I wish Krista Simone was here. We can ask for some of these questions. But but you know, I'll give you you know a lot more about it than I do. That's for sure.

**Ron Arenas** (2:59)
Yeah.

**Will Pena** (3:00)
So tell us about a little recap of that game last night.

**Ron Arenas** (3:02)
Sure. Sure. It was a pretty good game.
The USA won 2-0.

**Will Pena** (3:09)
Excuse me. They won 2-0.

**Ron Arenas** (3:11)
2-0. Okay. 2-0.
They were tied almost until the half time. So it would be 0-0.

**Will Pena** (3:21)
It was 0-0 at that point. Yes.

**Ron Arenas** (3:23)
Will, it was 0-0.

**Will Pena** (3:24)
Yes.

**Ron Arenas** (3:25)
Thank you.
But then we scored. We scored the first goal and went into the half time 1-0.
And then at the 64 minute mark, our leading scorer got a red card.

**Will Pena** (3:40)
He did.

**Ron Arenas** (3:41)
He did.

**Will Pena** (3:41)
I learned about that yesterday.

**Ron Arenas** (3:42)
You did. Yeah.

**Will Pena** (3:44)
I knew that meant an ejection. I did not know that you could not put another player.

**Ron Arenas** (3:48)
Right. Right. So kind of like hockey when someone's in the penalty box, but a red card is for the rest of that game. And that player is actually suspended for the next game.

**Will Pena** (3:59)
Yeah.

**Ron Arenas** (3:59)
And he's our leading scorer.

**James Piper** (4:01)
Wow.

**Ron Arenas** (4:02)
Yeah.

I didn't know that. Yeah.

So that's a big deal. But so they're playing 10 on 11 You know, they're one man down.
