Good morning, everyone, in the live chat. Mother Mucker, you're correct. The sunrise was wild today. Yeah.

I headed my rearview mirror on the way coming here.

But then it, like, it was coming across the Catalinas and then hitting, there was something going on rain-wise or whatever. So all of a sudden, there's, like, this orangey, flamey thing on the southwest side of the valley, which when I was driving, I'm like, well, that's weird and cool. So it finally rained a little bit in some parts. You said you got nothing on your side.

Nothing on these, at least where I live on these side. And interestingly, it was hot. When I walked out of the front door to get the car today, it was hot outside.

Interesting.
Now, it was okay. There was a little bit of a breeze left over from whatever was going on and cooling off from the rain at my house. So when I was out this morning at four, I said, I kind of did that thing where I go, it's not too bad. I'm gonna say it's great. I was in Phoenix on Saturday and it was a buck 15

Oh, it was just bad.

But, and then we had a rain at about 345 that came out of nowhere. All these storms never make it into the valley or they just boob you and you get no rain. This was the cooler offer. It went from 115 to 89 in 20 minutes. That was that, that's a Phoenix miracle.
So, and then it went back up to 91, but that's still better.

**Bruce Ash** (2:25)
So, tell me Chris, what's been going on in your life recently?

**Christopher DeSimone** (2:31)
Just talking to people, hugging, hugging people.

You know, you were asking me about recount and all, you know, there's a runoff. You know, last week, I just kind of mentally took off from everything.

**Bruce Ash** (2:47)
Which I think is healthy.

**Christopher DeSimone** (2:48)
Yes.
You know, that's why I disappeared up to Phoenix. It'll change, just a little, no matter if it was 115, just a little change of pace, it'll change scenery, that kind of thing. I, we just gotta do the math one more time. So, I don't think we're gonna make it, but we'll double check.

There's nobody who worked harder and who employed as many different things in a town council campaign.

Well, I appreciate that.

As you did in this election.

I have a, Jim sent me a nice email about such things. I think he did a nice job, kind of.

**Bruce Ash** (3:28)

He's preparing for his Teach the Children Journalism at the U of A.
Let's see. Here's a few observations seem worth making. Many people will offer their own explanations, each shaped by their own perspective. My view is simpler. You are the only candidate who has consistently articulated what I would describe as a common sense vision for a rural valley, one grounded in fiscal responsibility, thoughtful governance and a willingness to confront difficult issues rather than avoid them. Elections do not always reward conviction nor do they favor those willing to challenge the prevailing political winds. History is filled of examples of principled voices that were outnumbered in the moment, but vindicated over time. Whether one agrees with your positions or not, your campaign reflected a genuine commitment to the town and to the principles you believe would best serve its future.

Well, yeah, you were talking about issues that actually impact the voters, and it seems to me that the voters in this case, just wanted to put off the problem to another day.
