And then coming up at seven, we're going to be talking about film industry, old Tucson with three folks in the biz, Daryl Mallett, Willie Horton, not that Willie Horton, and Rio Van Zant. How's that? And so we'll have a little, we'll have a deep dive on the film business and locally, regionally, nationally, that kind of thing at seven. I'm going to give you the news rundown. I'll tell you about an interesting conversation I had yesterday. So this, the thought came in my head originally when we were talking about the closing of Copper Creek School. The Arizona Deafin School, blind people, they are moving in all there. They got a bunch of vans there now. They're making it happen over there. But I talked about, yes, there's competition from charter schools, ESAs, Amphi's own crappy performance, but also the fact of lack of job growth in the region. So I ran the numbers. I feel like if we can get away with it, I want to play like the Halloween tubular bells music in the back for this.
We're going to talk about the guy that they want to, that the main D party would like to put in place of Graham Platner. I don't know, maybe we'll play the Liz Warren endorsement speech next to Platner, where he's her kind of guy and all this stuff. That's only 60 days ago. It did not age well.
We'll talk about that. Cuba faces third major blackout. Maybe we'll get to that. I do want to get to a couple of local stories. The one we're going to get to is, this is something that KOL, especially Valcavazos, has been all over, of course, is the dysfunctionality of TUSD. And so, a new person that I've never heard of, you know, sometimes they sign new people in the summer, Isabella Lisko, she did a story about chronic absenteeism. The data is getting worse.
And she's trying to get a hold of someone at the district. She's the Education's Solution Reporter. I didn't even know we had one. Wow. Let's see. There she is. Recently completed a documentary film on sex workers in Chicago. She loves language learning. In her free time, she practices martial arts and tries viral Instagram recipes. She's new to Southern Arizona and eager to explore more.
