Yo, yo, yo, you're on Live The Dream Media, Christopher DeSimone. Welcome back to y'all. Make a little Augusto coffee in here.
Tony's playing a little tunes from the Tucson Loves Music playlist that we have on Spotify. And if you missed Friday's show, it was very, very fun with Kathy and Paul and Brent. So if you missed it, check it out. All right. Bob Wells coming off his Fox News appearance yesterday will be on the show in just about an hour, Brother Joe after that. We got a lot of stuff to get to today.
I'm not going to start you off with World Cup talk, even though I should. But let's see. My Weekend. Again, this is something that was requested years ago. Let's see. Please tell Captain Bob this is from his other half. He'll know. Wow.
We already got a question from the old Caber, Caber 4854 for Captain Bob. That's awesome. Again, keep hitting like and subscribe on all of our chats. For all of you that are afraid have gotten into the chats, get into the chats. You can call 520-771-5101, but chats have been good. Pat Barney, Bob, Dave William, Pat, different Pat, Patrick, Dr. Neil, 59 Degrees and the Dog Patch, and Von Heineken, Go USA. So yep, they're playing Wednesday against the Bosnians, and Herzegovina is happening Wednesday. So, all right, where do we, there's so much stuff, there's so much stuff to cover today. Let's, before we get to stories, I'll bore you with my weekend as tradition on in the wake up sphere. Tony, if you could play, let's see.
You'll see a thing at 512 that says, it's a reel that I put the word first segment next to it. Tell me when you're ready to play that, okay bud? Now, we're going to do a little oral valley talk. And Sophie Cunningham from the Indiana Fever, who is the hottest meme in America right now, has weighed in on the oral valley election. And we'll talk about that. So Friday night, I went to, with Mary Murphy, councilwoman, we, and Mrs. D and one of our children, lovely children, we went to a grand opening in the oral valley marketplace of something called the T-Box. Really interesting concept where it is a golf, indoor golf training facility. It has four to five areas where you can be hitting balls into a screen with all the sensors to tell you how you did your swing and all that. And it also has a workout area for weights and flexibility and things like that to make your golf game better. And the other thing that was fascinating that I wasn't expecting was it is a 24-hour facility. So if you want to go in at two o'clock in the morning, workout and hit balls, you can do that. I'm like, well, that was fascinating. Sam the owner seems like a heck of a guy. We'll have him on the show soon. And he, let's see, where's my picture? Oh, Murph sent me that picture. Okay, just a nice guy and the place was packed. So I just did the 360 turnaround spinner, Spinderella video to give you a quick look. So Tony, if you could hit that for me, please. That would be amazing. Absolutely amazing. Here we go.
All right. The opening of the T-box in the Oro Valley opening night. The place is absolutely packed and actually can become an amazing asset to golf tourism in Oro Valley once we straighten that out. So Sam, the owner, is a great guy, and if you want to get better on your golf game, or especially in the heat, this is the place to do it. So in the Oro Valley marketplace, it's ball the T-box.
Yep, just, you know, it was really fascinating. There were so many different people from the golf community, pros, GMs, and they were all asking me about how everything's going in the tourism advisory world, and I told them it was pretty much a mild train wreck, and that I think golf is only mentioned in a 154 page report twice.
That's a whole, that tourism thing's a train wreck.
The, I will tell you that it was really, met a lot of good people there, and the discussion about tourism and OV was quite fascinating with a bunch of people. I'll just tell you that. It was fascinating. So that what we did, you know, then you're knocking on doors until it gets very hot. What else did, of course, you're always fixing signs, especially when you have four by sixes. That's like a wind sail, those suckers. And then, what else did we do? Saturday night, I made a bunch of eggplant, I made a bunch of oven fried eggplant, which is always a good, and then threw it back in the oven with fresh mozzarella and I'll take that picture. We're doing all, I'm going to just terrify Tony with a bunch of late pictures here.
