Hi, everyone.

**Christopher DeSimone** (0:33)
Welcome back to the Live The Dream Media Network. We're finishing your week with a more leaning on the fun Friday, as we like to say. Mark's gonna be here in about 33 and a half minutes to start doing top 10 tearjerker movies, believe it or not. Let's get the... Let's kick up the live chats. Hold on. Oh my God. Xfinity, you are something else.
Love that Xfinity. What a bunch of maniacs. Here we go. Morning the mother mucker, Keith, Pat, Cowboy Tilly, Murph88, Jim White, Jim, I owe you a response to your text message. Good morning, Billy. Good morning.
I don't know. We'll see if there's a show.

**Mark Van Buren** (1:21)
Oh, hi.

**Christopher DeSimone** (1:24)
Let's do it again. I didn't have it. I'm so kerfluft here. Let's start again. Barney, mother mucker, Keith, Pat, Cowboy Tilly, Murph88, Jim White, Jamie, Big Dave, John Holden, Neil, 63 and drying out from 0.22 inches of rain yesterday. Come on, Super El Nino. Thank you. And let's see. And happy Friday to Patrick. Now, Mark's going to be doing top 10 Tearjerker movies. So get ready. Get ready. So Big Dave's already putting one in there. So load them up. Which one made you cry? That's all I'm going to tell you. And not because the movie was so bad. It wasn't like watching Madame Web or Ishtar or something like that.
But we have that full audience participation day, very much so. And then we have our friends from Tucson Loves Music, and they have frontman Brent Kort coming on in the third hour. But we got stuff to cover today. Let's see what we got here. We're going to play a clip before Mark gets here. It's the co-chair of the Democrat Socialist Party in New York, explaining basically how they're using the Democrat Party infrastructure to infiltrate. I guess I got to appreciate his honesty.
Brandon Gill. He always comes off as so smarmy, but I do like how he does some of his questioning in Congress. And so he's with an anti-hunger advocate talking about should people be able to buy soda with their food stamps. It's like silly, but just it kind of like demonstrates everything you need to know about Congress. Supreme Court makes decision on a couple of immigration cases. And so that's going to that went down. Birthright citizenship, I guess, is coming up really, really soon.
Let's see. Pray for the people of Venezuela. Over 10,000 people are missing after an earthquake. 164 dead, 971 injured, 10,000 missing. 7.2, 7.5 magnitude earthquakes were among the strongest to strike Venezuela in more than a century and could be felt throughout the region. Buildings were evacuated as far as Brazil's Amazon, 1,700 miles, we're not doing this kilometer, it's America 250, 1,050 miles from Venezuela's capital of Caracas.
So pray for the people of Venezuela, they just got devastated by this thing. So I guess there was an earthquake overnight in just north of San Francisco. So Mother Earth is rumbling angrily, my friends.
What else? Oh, I gotta get that picture to tone. Hold on. If you missed the third hour yesterday, I know everyone's gotta get to work and things like that, go back and watch it. Gate Presano, this is our buddy, our World War, our Korean war vet. Tony, we're gonna put that picture up in the next couple, okay? That I just put up. The one with the green, the green picture, yep. Gate, that interview, that was beautiful. At the end of his first segment, Margot and everyone came in and surprised them with his 95th birthday cake. And it was a nice group of people, Barney and Sharon, Captain Wells, Cowboy Tilly, Don Dickinson and his wife, Mike, I forgot his last name, and just a good group of people. So they ambushed him with a birthday cake that had his nine and a five on it. And then we did a little, as we like to say in the back, in New York, we did a little cake and coffee after the show. But listen to Gate.
He's bringing a light to, again, a war that doesn't get as much attention to World War II, defeating fascism, Nazism, really freeing the world from an oppressive, aggressive regime, right? Deadly, sick regime. And we had unconditional surrender. And then we went into these wars where we haven't done that really. And Korea, it was in the shadow of World War II. But then, of course, the horrors of Vietnam and the way that was portrayed and done and executed. And so these guys are a little bit forgotten. Margo can tell you. But amazing stories from Gate yesterday. And I think the most powerful part of the Gate interview was when he mentioned there were tactics and strategies trained into them to deal with the horrors of war. And one of the ones he mentioned was be meaner than the enemy. And then my follow up question was, well, what's an example of being meaner than the enemy? And he thought about it for a moment and says, you can see the change of look on his face. And he went, I'm not going there.
