Gotta let this Tucson Loves Music thing go a little bit. Bill Beard, now for something completely different. Absolutely, mother mucker, good morning, happy Dan Day. Let's get ready to giggle with Dan. It's unbelievable, that guy.
Is it Ringo Starr's birthday today? Is that what Keith's telling us today? Ringo, what a maniac. I think he's coming to, did he come to Tucson already or was coming? I think he was playing over at the music hall, so hey, it's Wednesday. It's Korean War Vets Day with our good friend Margo and the crew, 10 o'clock over at the TPD headquarters. And then today at 5.3 is the return of the honor flight. Southern Arizona honor flight is coming back at 5.30. I guess they're saying to be there at the airport at 5.15. So always a good thing. I've done it a couple of times. You're feeling bad about what's going on in your day. You're having a rough day, go hang out and watch the vets come back from honor flight.
Cheer them on, cheer them on, cheer them on. Pat, Jamie, Murph, good morning to everybody. Great to hear. If you missed yesterday's show, now Hassam Rahimian was great. Jared Weisfeld was okay, but that guy Mike with the Arnold, with the book of EpiCenter about Nigeria, that opened a lot of people's eyeballs. That is one of the most under reported stories, and I'm going to go history right now. The media is aversion, this is going to be my Zinger moment. The media is aversion to reporting Nigeria is like the media is aversion, the local, this is like the aversion of Dylan Smith, Jim Nensel and Tim Steller to give you the reality of Tucson.
Zinger, that's where we're at. It's a big Wednesday too. I mean, these things just keep rocking. Bruce has their UK correspondent. I don't even have a UK correspondent, but those guys do. Let's see, what's this dude's name? Adrian Brettel, UK news contributor.
And so that's happening at 9 on Inside Track, and then they got Ted Maxwell on. He did this piece, him and Taylor Davidson did back to back pieces about basically local leadership's ignoring of the basics, which brought a tear to my eye briefly, but I knew, we've seen this before, where good people write good stuff, and it just kind of dies in a vacuum of leadership. I tell you, I always love watching those, like the posts from the Greater Tucson Leadership, and they're rocking each other out, and you're great, and they're dancing, like, you and we're hanging out with alumni, woo!
They've been doing that for 20 years. Where are you guys? Is your leadership skills kissing Regina Romero's buttocks? Just wanted to know.
Lara was in that. I remember when Lara had to admit that her and I are friends to the Greater Tucson Leadership people, they were horrified. Your friends were that guy? Oh God.
Dan Shearer, holy crap. We're going to talk about bears. We're going to be talking about, um, so we got bears. Uh, let's see. Walden Desiree François Croissant, Bouillabé Enclave of the U of A. Her son is now, one from basketball player to the, to the head basketball coach at Walden Grove. He says it's causing a little bit of a stir.
So we're going to cover that with, uh, with Dan. Um, who knew that Pima County had a special section of pack that houses animals from hoarding situations. And then talking about the cost of, uh, gasoline based on the Iranian situation and how much it's costing local schools. And Dan, I don't, I'm sure you're starting to drive up right now. If you don't have cult talk, turn your rig around and go back to Green Valley or Nogales, wherever you're ending up today. We better have a little bit of cult update, Daniel, or I'm going to be a little ticked. Eight o'clock, we have Pam Neal. Does a lot of work in relation to raising money for cardiovascular stuff, heart stuff. And, uh, so we're going to have a health update. I feel like Bucky show. We're going to have a health update with a heart contributor, uh, Pam Neal. Coming up at eight o'clock. Met her for coffee a few weeks ago. She's got, she's got the fire in the belly. I like Pam. So, and her buddy, Emily might join her also, who's also a hoot and a holler. She's been on before while she used to do work with the Tucson Rodeo, our friend Emily. Now we got first ballot dumps in Los Angeles and California. We'll tell you some early results from that.
