We've reached the final hour. It is the VSiN Weekend Morning Line, and it's John Jastremski and Will Hill. We have our best bets still to come. We're breaking down a bunch of futures in the NFL. We're going to do that coming up with some college football stuff, with our main man, Aaron Torres, who is very busy. He's on the air all the time. He's a rock star. Usually, I'm talking college sports with Aaron. But buddy, you were on the air yesterday on Fox Sports Radio, as the Tarek Scoobel trade goes down.
That must have been a fun show to do over an hour, hour and a half. So what was the reaction from most of the baseball fans you were talking to?

**Aaron Torres** (0:58)
Yeah, it was great. I appreciate you guys having me. I always say, you know, I've worked this Saturday Night Shift for a long time now, and some crazy stuff has happened during that window. Luka Doncic got traded during that window. And I would probably put this at number two, because it wasn't just that Tarek Scoobel got traded. It was all of the conversations that come with the Dodgers now having a lead arm, you know, top of their rotation, especially with the show Hey Otani Injury. And then I think as the night went on, we kind of realized, I'm just going to say it, and I don't know if this is going to defend people in Detroit or rile people up.
Kind of a pathetic haul that they got for him. And so I think the conversation went, oh, my goodness, the Dodgers are ruining baseball, to that's the best the Tigers could do, especially with a full, you know, 36 to 48 hours before the deadline on Monday. And so it was fun being the first people to react to it. I'm sure you guys have talked about it plenty on air this morning.

Dodgers or the field, who wins the championship? If you had to make a bet one way or another. I know it's baseball, the playoffs are random, but where would you go?

**Aaron Torres** (2:11)
I would probably take the Dodgers. I am far from a baseball insider. It's funny, we were on air when the Circa odds changed in real life. In Circa, the great facility that I know some of you guys do your shows out of, the odds changed in real time. And so we referenced those on air on a Saturday night. Excuse me. You know, JJ, you could reference the Yankees better. I know another injury, especially in that starting lineup.
I just, you know, you look at the Brewers there at 9 to 1, I'm seeing on your guys' board here.
I think that was the disappointing one to me, is that you've been on the cusp, you obviously got swept by the Dodgers last year, and you have a chance to have Mizorowski and Schubel 1-2 in your rotation, especially early in the playoffs where the playoff rounds are. I think they're the ones that missed, and I would be curious what the odds would be if the Brewers had taken them. I guess the smart money is on the Dodgers. I'm not smart enough to know who would be the actual competition, but I think it was a bad, bad, bad look for some of these other teams that they couldn't come up with a more intriguing package.

Okay, Aaron, let's get to some college football. This is your wheelhouse. This is your bread and butter.
The most interesting team going into the 2026 season. You could take this any which way you'd like. The most interesting team in the sport is who?

**Aaron Torres** (3:35)
Well, this is maybe an obvious answer. I think the most interesting team is the LSU Tigers. You know, we know what they did to get Lane Kiff in. We know the roster they put together. Some believe it's the most expensive roster in college football. And the conversation coming out of SEC media days two weeks ago was quite literally like, is it a one analyst said national championship or bust? It feels aggressive to me.
I think you gotta be in playoff contention, but you guys have the schedule right there. It is even by SEC standards insane. You have Clemson open the season. I don't have the updated total there, it was around double digits the last time that I saw it as you know, LSU being a double digit favorite. Then it's right into the SEC play at week three with that very emotional return for Lane Kiffin. You have Texas A&M late in the month. And then that close in November is just insane. Alabama, Texas, I understand both those games are at home. And then another emotional return game for Lane Kiffin. Nobody does return games quite like Lane Kiffin. And Josh Hyple already said at SEC media days, bring your mustard bottles, bring your golf balls. I want that place to be rocking when LSU comes to town in late November. And so there are certain teams that kind of, I don't want to say benefited, but got an easier draw in this new look SEC with nine conference games. I don't think LSU was one of them.
