Yeah, it should be a fun weekend. It's been just a fun summer in general. I think the summer's flown by with, yeah, you go from Knicks and Spurs and the NHL Stanley Cup right into the World Cup where there's not that lull between the NBA ending and the start of football, right? You look and even though the Hall of Fame game is later than usual, we're just less than a week away from that. Trade Deadline, which I think has a lot of juice. Scoobles certainly seems like he's on the move. I know we've been tracking that. And before you know it, football will be on our TV. So big baseball night, football around the corner.
It's a good time to be alive. It's a good time to be better, as a wise man once said.

Hey, you already know, buddy. You already know. I was scrolling my timeline earlier this afternoon and I saw, because I follow a bunch of Seattle people because I used to work there and live there. And they're like, oh, like day six of Seahawks training camp is wrapped up. I'm like, we're already at day six of camp, wrapping up.
Some of these teams that reported early, the teams that are like the Patriots and the Seahawks who play opening night on that Wednesday, or the Niners and Rams who play in the Australia game on Thursday night that week. These teams are like full throttle, like put the pads on. They're ready to roll, man.
Training camp is underway. We will get into a lot of national football storylines. Will mentioned it, the MLB trade deadline that's coming up on Monday. Scoobble is going somewhere, I think. I don't know where. I don't think he's going to remain a Detroit Tiger, but we'll see. We'll see what happens. Is it the Dodgers? Is it the Brewers? The Phillies? Who knows where it will be with Tarek Scoobble? We'll discuss that all throughout the program, but want to set the table before we get into all the good stuff over these next four hours. And if it has the potential to disrupt the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2026 campaign, because Baker Mayfield is talking that cash noise. He's saying, hey man, they're disrespecting me. What's going on? Vita Vea requesting a trade. He wants a new contract. He didn't get it. Will that derail the Bucs as they are the favorites to win the NFC South? Then at 9 o'clock Eastern Time, Baseball Analyst over at The Athletic, the writer for the wind up newsletter for The Athletic, also the beat writer for the Texas Rangers, Levi Weaver.
