Sons in the Pistons, one that has caught Will's eye. The Phoenix Suns have a 95 88 lead with a 114 to go. For a second there, I think you would step away for a little bit. It was a three point game with two minutes to go. I was like, hey man, we're going to have to stop the jokes. This might be a barn burner, but I'm assuming Phoenix will take care of business here, but I guess you can't make assumptions. It is indeed Summer League. We have some other Summer League action that is set to tip off a little bit later on. Celtics Kings will be tipping off in a matter of moments. Jazz Spurs at 930 Eastern Time. I'm assuming no Darren Peterson on that one. I have not seen any reports, but just going off of common sense and common knowledge, I'm guessing that Darren Peterson is likely to not play in that game.
I do know that there will be no AJ DeBonsa tonight when the Wizards take on the Clippers and Keaton Wogler who Keaton Wogler's Summer League got off to a little bit of a shaky start but has since bounced back.
I always find it funny the things people take away from Summer League because it's almost like pre-season NFL where if you like a draft pick and they make a nice play, it's like, oh, see, like the future all-pro or if a guy that you like doesn't play well, it's like, well, it's just the pre-season. That's the same thing with Summer League, right? Like, oh, DeBonsa, see, like all NBA. But if DeBonsa wasn't playing well, it'd be like, well, you don't want to take away too much. Even Wembe had nine points in his Summer League debut. Can't take away too much from this stuff. So yeah, you know, it's a, we can spin it however we want it. But Summer League, at least so far, the top four guys have really shown out and had lived up to the billing. What is, what is going to be a really, really highly decorated draft class, at least in the early going.

I will say from a betting standpoint, I have done almost zero handicapping, but I've bet a decent amount and I've done okay. My handicapping basically is this. Anytime I see a line five, six or above, we've had some spreads nine. The other day, I think it was Monday, the day of the home run derby, I was doing the show with Matt Youmans. Nick's Pistons, the line was nine. I think the Knicks were the dog. They won, they won convincingly.
It was Grizzlies Mavericks. The Grizzlies were a nine-point dog. They won convincingly. You're going to put a nine-point spread on what is basically a televised pickup game. Give me those points, give me the fat plus price on the money line. These games, again, I'm sure the line is nine for the season. You can tell me, all right, this team is playing.
They're B guys. This team is playing. They're C guys. That's why they're favored. All right. But nine points. Anything I would say, Femi, five and above, man, you're going to give me any sort of reasonable points, these two, three, four to ones on the money line. What are just, again, glorified pickup games?
