Bitcoin is on the cusp of a major correction, and the entire market is watching one thing this week, the SpaceX IPO. We're seeing talks of big money rotating out of Bitcoin to chase this listing, but there's one question nobody's really answering. Have we seen this before? Today, we're gonna go back and look at four major IPO launches, Coinbase, Robinhood, Circle and technology company Rivian, and see what did Bitcoin do in each of those cases. Then we're gonna take that data and ask the question, if history repeats itself, what does SpaceX do to Bitcoin's price? Now folks, we're gonna let the charts do the talking. And if you like these data driven videos, please go ahead and smash that like button. So we're gonna start with Coinbase and a couple stats. Coin, one year after launch was down 58%.
Bitcoin, one year after launch was down 30%.
But we got an initial 27% dump. So let's zoom in and we're on daily candles here. You can actually see for the first half of 2021, this was the Bitcoin all time high. So Coinbase launch created the Bitcoin all time high. We would then correct for months and months. We wouldn't see a new all time high till November of that year. But we initially got just a huge decline. You can see it right here. Bitcoin would fall 27%.
Now I'm gonna share the most bullish chart at the end and then I'm gonna share my thoughts on what I think SpaceX is gonna do. I'm gonna give you my prediction here, but you can see here, at least in this case, we got an initial dump of 27%.
And you can see there's a lot of correlation between Coinbase and Bitcoin. Let's go to number two and that's gonna be Circle, the company behind USDC. We also have a similar situation. Now Circle, one year later, is actually flat. Circle basically launched a little over $80 a share. You go forward 365 days, it's at the same price. Now one year later, Circle is flat, Bitcoin one year later, down 39%, but this one got an initial 20% pump. And we're gonna stretch out these daily candles so we can see. So right here you can see Bitcoin would actually trade flat. I was gonna do the first double-digit move, but I want to do the first 20% move, because we had a little move to the upside, a little move to the downside, less than 10%, but then less than a couple months later, 39 days later, you would see a nice 20% pump for Bitcoin. All right, now we're doing Rivian. We only got one more company, and then I'm gonna share my thoughts. Rivian, one year later, was down 50%. Bitcoin one year later was down 67%, but we actually got a 37% initial dump. Rivian actually kind of pulled the Coinbase move, Coinbase launch at the all-time high for the first half of 2021 Rivian basically launched at the all-time high in 2021 in November for the second half of the year, and we would get a very quick move to the downside. It'd actually be 50% if you zoom out a couple months, but roughly three weeks later, you would see a huge 37% crash, then a 50% crash two and a half months later. And if you look now, you can see Rivian's largely decoupled from Bitcoin. So let's go to the fourth company here, and then I'm going to explain why am I bullish despite all these drawdowns. Now, Hood, one year later, it was down 78%.
You're starting to see a theme with these large IPOs. You wait a year.
Typically, you're going to get in at a cheaper price. Bitcoin, one year later, was down 41%.
So it actually fell a little bit less. Now, this one, you also see a lot of correlation between Robinhood and Bitcoin, which makes a lot of sense when Bitcoin is pumping. Probably more people are using Robinhood. But Robinhood had a huge pump initially, 82% initial pump. So let's again stretch out these daily candles. We're going to start from the middle of this green candle right here. This is the day Robinhood launched. This is July of 2021
We would have a nice move to the upside, 80% pump for Bitcoin. But let's ask this question. Why am I bullish? What is different about SpaceX that we're seeing from maybe some of these other moves? Can Elon, is he going to be the magic sauce to save Bitcoin's price? Are we going to see SpaceX make the rocket emoji but for Bitcoin candles instead of their actual product? Now, the reason I'm bullish is actually quite a simple one. What is the environment that these IPOs are launching into? Is Bitcoin in a bullish environment or is in a bearish environment? Let's go back. I'll just kind of show you. Coinbase, what did it do? It launched at the top for Bitcoin. And just the local terms here, this was a top.
