Imagine this before we take that break. Because there's a lot of thousands of people here, and no one has contemplated this potential reality that never came to fruition.
Imagine what it took to get here today. The parking is what it is, the traffic is what it is, the lines to get in, you know, all for this amazing event that keeps its home in New York City. Do you know, if it was not for Sheldon Silver, we would be standing right now on the 50-yard line of the New York Jets Stadium.
Really? Let that sink in, where you are, what it took to get here, and how awesome that would have been had this become New York Jets Stadium, whatever they would have called it. Right. That's where we would be.
And man, I wish that had happened. I wish they would have done that too. I would dare say we would have a Super Bowl Championship. That would have changed everything? Would have changed everything. Because who wouldn't want to come here to play football on the Upper West Side, well, Medium West Side, I should say, let me rephrase that, rolling on 35th Street, so it's not the Upper West Side, I'd take that back. Midtown West Side. Right. With the Hudson River right there behind us to watch the Jets play football.
And that scumbag, Sheldon Silver, shot it down because there wasn't enough money going back in his pockets to make it happen. Didn't Dolan have something to do with that too? Dolan didn't want it either. He didn't want it either, right? And I think he may have some contractual rights too, or some saying it, whatever it might be. But I can tell you this, today's Jimmy Dolan would have signed off on it. You bring the Jets into town too. Now that I'm a champion, we need more champions here. But as I was walking in there, it would have been fun to have it here. How awesome would that have been if this became Jet Stadium? It would have been great. And we've proven we can handle lots of people. There got to be 5, 10,000 people here today. Oh, easy. And I got in lickety-split. I also did because I'm very well known and beloved in the five boroughs and the security guard recognized me. Yeah. And let me go right in.
And then he said, oh, you're with him? You can go in too. It was great. It was one of those moments that really, when it hit you, you're just like, man. Yeah, they started checking Big Mac's bag. And then the guy goes, no, no, he's a carton. He's all right. He's good. I was like, I've made it. I've made it. And then, of course, Big Mac and I walked around blind. Yeah, we have no idea where we were going. It said downstairs in the email, we walked down the first set of stairs. And it's like, nobody's here. This is what it's all about? There's nobody here.
Anyhow, tomorrow, live from Fanatics Fest, you've got Tiki and Sean. Yeah. I think Evan's on vacation still. Yeah. So Tiki and Sean will be right here. How about that? We're going to give him crap for being on vacation during Fanatics Fest. Yeah. I'm the only one who gets. Yeah, no, it's obnoxious that Evan chose not to work today. I'll work tomorrow for that matter. But those guys will be here tomorrow. It will not be as entertaining as this was, but it will still be solid Sports Talk Radio.
