But the bottom line is the next 20 or 25 years is going to see a dramatic increase in power consumption from the richest of the rich to the poorest of the poor. And it's also going to have to see dramatic investment in developed countries like the United States in the grid. You have to get from the power from where it is to where it isn't. And you have to have the ability for the grid to be addressable. That's probably a five or six trillion dollar bill in the US alone.

You're very kind. We're going to talk about silver, and not just the silver tongue that you have there, my friend, but we're going to talk about silver and all sorts of commodity topics today. Rick, you and I, we hop on here every couple of months and talk. I think this is one of the more interesting times to be talking about commodities. There's so much going on in the world right now that is driving current and future commodity demand. I just was starting to put together a list here, but obviously we have the whole AI boom, which is becoming really a top national priority, and that's going to need just a gargantuan amount of new electrical capacity, energy capacity here in the US., but also in all the countries that are competing with the US., so there's going to be massive demands for energy. We obviously have, sadly, the events going on in the Middle East as you and I speak, and that is impacting the price of oil. We've had breakouts in the precious metals, all three, but particularly recently in both platinum and silver.
And through all this, we have supposedly these big trade deals being struck by the new administration with major countries around the world, and commodities are a core part of those trade deals. So it's almost like where to start. So look, I want to touch on as many of those as we can in the time we have today.
