We are right on the cusp of not only our guide coming out here on Monday, but of course, the college football season right around the corner. Maybe you want to get some tickets in before people start really paying attention to college football. What would you say? I think that might actually be a little high. OK, it's really just the hard course because of the World Cup this summer, because you had other things going on. We've got the baseball trade deadline going down. The NFL had a very busy offseason. The NBA has been interesting. College football kind of got left behind a little bit.

**Matt Brown** (2:24)
Colby Dant going to join us for that. Greg Peterson is going to talk some baseball with us. We'll get his thoughts on not only what games he's on, but any Texas Roadhouse updates and or dating life stuff that we got with that. Lawrence Jackson going to join us talks of fantasy football and then our very own Jensen Lewis going to join us to talk Major League Baseball as well. But unless you're living under a rock, you know what went down. Yes, the Dodgers broke baseball. They went ahead and traded for Tarek Scoobel.
We kind of saw the writing on the wall. It was on the Twitter machine that a couple of guys, a couple of prospects had been pulled and all of that. And, you know, Mike, you brought it up. And I was like, yep, that's probably it. And sure enough, about 30 minutes later, we get the news that it is going to be the Dodgers that win the Scoobel sweepstakes here. And, you know, when I say the Dodgers broke baseball, you and I, and we were fortunate enough to have dinner last night with Kelly Bidlin, Dustin Sweetilson here from the network. We're all just talking about it. And it's like, you know, it's not necessarily a bad thing, I don't think in the grand scheme of things like, you know, this definitely is forcing a salary cap for sure now. So if you're holding out hope that there was not going to be a lockout or whatever, something like that, it is happening for sure.

**Mike Somich** (3:34)
Well, here's the thing. I think it may actually be good from a lockout perspective because you can't deny this is a problem now, right? You have to realize, okay, the Dodgers aren't doing anything wrong. I want to start out with that. The Dodgers did absolutely nothing wrong. They are playing by the rules. They are following the rules. The rules are bad. The rules are being mismanaged and the Dodgers are the first team to really take advantage of it. I realize the Yankees and people are going to mention them and all the money they spent back in the day, but they didn't have these extended contracts. They're not going to the lengths that the Dodgers are going where they're saying, hey, we'll work at an operating negative cost, just spend way more than everybody else and literally have five of the top seven pitchers in baseball. We'll have, I think it was eight of the top 45 war players on the field for us. They are building an all-star lineup and at some point, the competitive balance of Major League Baseball is simply not fair. It's not just the Dodgers.
