Is there a vet that you are consistently lower on, lower on, than the rest of the consensus?
**Eric Moody** (0:49)
You know what? I will tell you, though, that there is a name that I'm concerned about. It's a Los Angeles Rams wide receiver. It goes by the name of...
**Liz Loza** (0:57)
Hey, I'm Liz Loza. This is Facts vs. Feelings. And today's fact is that experience has value.
**SPEAKER_4** (1:07)
We are back, Liz, for episode two of Facts vs. Feelings. Episode one, we hit rookies. This week, veterans. And the first name on this list is a wide receiver out of Buffalo, who you got cucking from me this week.
**Liz Loza** (1:20)
Well, it's obviously going to be DJ Moore, who previously in Chicago experienced a bit of a career renaissance when he landed with the Bears initially. In 2023, he recorded a career high eight touchdowns. In 2024, Romo Dunze joined the receiving corps. And while DJ Moore's touchdowns went down, he recorded a career high number of receptions, 98 that season. But in 2025, when Ben Johnson took over the offense and Luther Burden as well as Colston Loveland joined the past catching corps, well, DJ Moore's volume and subsequent fantasy production pretty much plummeted. He averaged just 10 fantasy points per game in 2025 But I think all of that is gonna rebound in his new home in Buffalo.
The Bills just added one wide receiver over the NFL draft, a guy named Skyler Bell out of Yukon in the fourth round. Otherwise, the rest of the receiving corps is really lacking in alpha energy. We got Khalil Shaqir, Josh Palmer and Kion Coleman as the headliners. Moore therefore has an opportunity to serve and help Josh Allen as a battle-tested vet that can be relied on. By the way, DJ Moore has not missed a game since 2020 Josh Allen has his new number one pretty good quarterback to be attached to.
I think that Moore is going to flirt with 100 looks this season, probably drafted as a wide receiver three, but certainly in that offense has wide receiver two potential for fantasy purposes.
**SPEAKER_4** (3:02)
I'm really pumped this season, Liz, to see how DJ Moore and Josh Allen can combine. I think it's going to result in a lot of fantasy points for those fantasy managers. But moving from one bear or one previous bear to another previous bear, David Montgomery.
**Liz Loza** (3:17)
Yes, David Montgomery did play in Chicago, for the last three seasons. He's been successfully playing the role of Knuckles to Jameer Gibbs Sonic in 2023 Similarly to Moore, actually, Montgomery was incredible. 235 total touches that year. Now, it went down a little bit in 2024, 221 total touches, but still produced at a high level for fantasy purposes in 2025, though, with Ben Johnson out the door. Just 182 total touches. He averaged 9.8 fantasy points per game. That was the RB 31 per game in terms of fantasy production. But again, we're feeling a rebound. The move is going to be beneficial for him. He was traded to Houston and signed a two-year deal. Now, Houston also did not add a running back at all during the draft last month. That leaves Monty available to eat in Houston's backfield. He is going to be the team's RB 1 with Woody Marks, who admittedly flashed last year, but also showed that he wasn't up to the task of being an every down option to work as the team's RB 2
I think that Monty is going to average probably 13 or 14 carries, maybe one to two receptions per game, and that volume makes him a solid floor option on the RB 2 to RB 3 bubble.
**SPEAKER_4** (4:50)
Okay, so a bit of a bounce back for David Montgomery. Speaking of bounce backs, this next player could be in line for one, Liz. I see Mr. Mark Andrews on the rundown.
**Liz Loza** (4:59)
Yes, so Mark Andrews, 31 years old, has been a fantasy stalwart at the position for years. In fact, he has averaged double digit fantasy points per game for six straight seasons between 2019 and 2024 But in 2025, another player whose production dipped. Since then, however, things have changed in Baltimore. The team let Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kohler go. Now, it is worth mentioning that Derm Smythe was added likely to be the team's blocking tight end replacing Kohler. But biggest thing here, obviously, is that there's been a change at the play caller position. Declan Doyle, who was previously the tight end's coach in Denver under Sean Payton, and then last year was the OC in Chicago, learning under Ben Johnson, who we know likes to utilize the tight end position, is coming in and calling the plays for Baltimore. I think that that is a great opportunity for Mark Andrews. Also, the team before they let likely and Kohler go, signed Andrews to a two-year extension in December and made his 2026 salary fully guaranteed. Now, it is worth mentioning that they did draft two tight ends.
