Brandon, in that whole spiel, I never even mentioned that we have the final event of the regular season PGA Tour ongoing right now. It is the Wyndham Championship. We are about halfway through the first round. Bo Hosler, currently your leader at 8-under, still out on 18 as we speak. Maddie Schmidt, Danny McCarthy, Davis Thompson, Hayden Springer, all just behind at 6-under.
The betting favorite coming into the tournament, the heavy, heavy favorite, which we talked about yesterday with Len Hochberg, Brandon Kam-Young, a little bit of a disappointment so far in round one. He is in the clubhouse, one over 71

Yeah, I, you know, I I'm, I'm so gassed up for the, for the hall of fame game tonight that I almost forgot. We still had a PGA tour stop to, to worry about here, but you got to keep an eye on these things. Brooks Koepka in the mix as well at three under. So he's still got a puncher's chance, a guy that we haven't really been talking a lot about over the last year of big time golf.

Yeah. You look at the, the updated odds for Cameron young after that 71, he is now one 15 to one to win the tournament. Hostler again, your solo leader. He is plus seven 20 as a short shot over at draft Kings. Brandon, as I alluded to, we have some news in the NFL. It's not Jameer gives, but it's Jonathan Taylor landing a two year, $44 million extension with the Indianapolis Colts could be worth closer to 50 mil. If he hits all of his incentives, entering his age, 27 season, he's been around for a while now. Brandon feels to me like Jonathan Taylor should be closer to age 30 But if you're the Indianapolis Colts, really no reason to think Jonathan Taylor is going to slow down anytime soon. You look at where he ranks since entering the league in 2020 He's second in total rushing yards. He's second in yards per game behind only Derek Henry. He's third in total carries behind Henry and Josh Jacobs, second in rushing touchdowns as well, also behind Derek Henry. I think we forget, Brandon, because of how the Colts finished last season.
There was borderline MVP buzz at times for Jonathan Taylor, even if we know deep down, a running back is never winning that award. But he was firmly in position, I think around mid-season to take home offensive player of the year, before the Colts offense fell apart and before JSN and Pukinakua had those huge second halves.

And I think it feels like he's been around longer, especially for where you are in the country, probably because he felt like a full blown pro at Wisconsin.
And he was there for an extended stay as well. So maybe that has something to do with it, but he was outstanding last year. He's been outstanding the last two years. Let the NFL and rush attempts rushing touchdowns last season. He's been healthy two years in a row. And what helps as much as his talent is the fact that he's running behind the best run blocking offensive line in the NFL in large part, thanks to Quintin Nelson.
