Good morning, and welcome to Prop Points. Jeff Erickson here with Nick Whalen. We are with rotowire.com. We have got a fun, fun show for you today. It's Double Guest Friday.
We got preseason football to break down, more preseason football to preview. We got John Mckechnie talking some college football, we got Greg Peterson jumping on the line giving us his bets, maybe another beer wreck as well while we're at it. And it's Dinger Friday. I miss Dinger Friday. Nick, it's been a long time since we've had Dinger Friday. So really excited about that.

**Nick Whalen** (0:42)
It has been, it has. And I take most of the responsibility for that. I know both of us have had obligations. We've both been traveling over the summer. But yeah, this is going to be the first Dinger Friday in, I think, a full month here on Prop Points. Should be a very fun show coming your way over the next 60 minutes. Just a reminder, make sure, if you're not catching us live here on VSiN, if you're not watching us on the VSiN Watch app, you can download Prop Points in podcast form. Jeff, I think we got to talk a little football, right? I will say I was immediately reminded, despite getting really excited for these preseason games last night, that it was still the preseason. After the first series in most of these games, you start having to Google some rosters. You start having to look around and say, OK, who is this guy? I did not know he was on this team.
It was a very preseason slate, if you will. A lot of ugly football was played last night. Unders went 6-0 on the Thursday night slate. 6-0, and really only one of those games was close to going over. How much did you catch? What jumped out to you, even if you just saw the highlights from last night?

**Jeff Erickson** (1:54)
I was drafting last night in the Flex, Super Flex Expert League and had the Steelers and Packers on in the background there on NFL Network.
It was fun seeing Drew Allar do his thing in the second half, but who's he doing against? We were disappointed by our starters. You had your starter bet, the Love Burrow bet did not code according to plan, but too many handoffs, unfortunately, as far as that goes. But it was fun seeing that. It was not fun seeing Joe Burrow get hit. MJD in the NFL Network Studios losing his mind every time Burrow got hit. He's like, get him out of there. And then he started talking about every single other player that was on the field there. Get him out. Nope. Jeremiah Love. Looks great. Get him out. What jumped off to me, though, was watching the cuts of Jeremiah Love.
I know it's against the Raiders. I know it's against mostly non-starters for the Raiders, but the Raiders played a lot of their offensive starters. I'm not sure how many other defensive starters were out there.
Love looked the part. Some of the cuts he was making, he looks ready to go right now. There is a while, Nick, where he was dropping and he might still be dropping a fantasy dress into the fourth round in a lot of leagues. That's going to stop after this pre-seasoning game. I think that's the one thing that I'll take away from this is, people are going to see those very same highlights. They're like, there's no way Arizona is not going to play this guy. There's no way he's not getting 15 touches a game. You know, he's just too good. There's no way they can keep them off the field.

**Nick Whalen** (3:25)
I think we're looking at more than 15 touches a game. Honestly, I think it could be closer to 20 He had 14 touches in the first half last night in a preseason game, right? Against the Las Vegas Raiders. So we saw the full Jeremiah Love experience. 11 carries, 58 yards, three catches for 15 yards.
I thought he 100% passed the eye test. I couldn't agree more. I think if you just see the highlights, whatever slide was going on in fantasy, that's going to stop. I think it'll probably start reversing in the other direction. And it'll be very interesting to look at some ADP changes over the weekend when we come back on the show on Monday. But I really don't think he could have passed the eye test more for me. I thought he looked bigger than I expected. He looked fast. He looked decisive. I'm going to throw this cop out there, Jeff, and I'm not going to say he's going to have the same career as this player, but the name who came to mind, when I was watching Jeremiah Love last night was Adrian Peterson. Like just the way that he managed to run with both speed and power and quickness at the same time, like very few backs have been able to kind of meld that. I know you'll see some Saquon cops. He had the hurdle last night and I get that. That was kind of more the college cop for Jeremiah Love. But man, the way he gets downhill, the physicality, the way he breaks tackles, I don't want to overreact. I probably am right now as we speak to one half of one preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders. But yeah, I'm with you, man. I think that was the biggest takeaway of the night for me was Jeremiah Love very much looking like the real deal. And then on the other side, Fernando Mendoza comes in, throws a touchdown pass in his NFL debut. He goes 10 for 16, 97 yards with that touchdown. Really nice ball placement, kept the ball low, put it in a spot where really only his receiver could get it at the goal line. Kirk Cousins looked okay. He got one drive. He went five for six, 50 yards through a touchdown as well.
