This is VSiN, the SportsBetting Network.
Back on Live Bet Saturday, Dustin Swedelson with Joe Cerauno. We are taking you through the day. As we've got three baseball games current in action, a whole slew of them still to come. As Rob Manfred, every single week, just tries to change the schedule and confuse us and give us no consistency day to day in watching a sport that's dying with every single second that we are on planet Earth, Joe.

**Joe Ceraulo** (0:42)
I mean, I gotta say, I don't mind this schedule being on the West Coast, but on the East Coast to have no baseball until 3 p.m. Eastern, that's brutal on a Saturday. What are we doing? I mean, you know, I'm happy because they gave us one game at noon, but East Coasters didn't get that one game at noon. What are we doing here?

**Dustin Swedelson** (0:59)
Yeah, I don't really understand. I also don't understand how there's not like a day game every day. I get people have jobs, but at least in the summer. What if you just did it in Los Angeles? Yeah, dude, June 21st until Labor Day, you highlight one day game every single year, might put your sport on a stage it's not normally on, where people will watch because they need something to do other than watch days of our lives all day long. Like how many times can you watch these things? Either way, update on the actual baseball.

**Joe Ceraulo** (1:28)
I just discovered one of the actresses from that show, by the way, and oh my goodness.

**Dustin Swedelson** (1:33)
Well, yeah, I saw this. That's the thing.

**Joe Ceraulo** (1:35)
She's like 30 She's like 36 or 37 I thought she was younger than me.

**Dustin Swedelson** (1:39)
Oh, really? Oh, she looks so good.

**Joe Ceraulo** (1:42)
I got to find her name. Yeah, she just popped into my Instagram feed out of nowhere. I don't even know her name, but I want to.

**Dustin Swedelson** (1:49)
George Lombard with a drive to write for the Yankees and it's over the short porch. George Lombard Jr. with his second homerun of his career.
The Yankees out in front of the Braves, four to two.
But hey, Joe, you already lost your bet because I jinxed you. I'm going to lose my Braves bet because I jinxed you. At least the player that we like is doing some damage here. George Lombard Jr. Here's the thing. Has this kid ignited this Yankees team where this could somehow translate the rest of the way? I don't know how good he is. I don't know the rest of the way, that's not my point. But sometimes you just, you need a little something different, a little spice there, a little different flavor for you. Could George Lombard be that piece for the Bronx Bombers that gets this offense cooking in the right direction?

**Joe Ceraulo** (2:38)
I mean, I'm out on this team in October, but if you get a kid like him who you can rely on to hit, what, seventh behind Judge and Bellinger and Ben Rice, right? Cause like we look at the Yankees and the problem is, if you can get through that quote-unquote murderer's row, things do thin out towards the bottom of the lineup. But all of a sudden, if you get through, you know, Rice, Judge and Bellinger, behind them, you might have Luis Garcia with his, what is he, top six in baseball and RBI. And then George Lombard becomes a scary bat down there. This lineup gets deep. And that's like in recent years, the Yankees and Phillies, their knock has been, the lineups are way too top heavy. So if the stars don't produce, which, oh, by the way, guys like Bryce Harper and Aaron Judge have not in October, then those teams can be got. Well, maybe Lombard, this kid is going to have a big role in October. I will be honest. I don't want, I don't think it's an overreaction.
He scares me. I think he's the truth. I think he's the real deal.

**Dustin Swedelson** (3:34)
He's got a little like Miguel Cabrera when he was called up in 3 with the Marlins at 19 years old.
Just undeterred by the moment. Just looks so poised out there. I don't think people understand this. Like playing shortstop for the Yankees, that pressure alone can break a man. George Lombard Jr. in his first week in the Bigs is thriving. What do you think the price was on it for him to hit a homerun? I have it in front of me and...

Had to have been about the live price or preflop?
