Top of the hour here on VSiN, the Sports Betting Network, it's Live Bet Saturday.
We are broadcasting, I am broadcasting live from the Midgaming Hall here in Franklin, Kentucky, right outside of Kentucky Downs.
I am Brad Taylor along with Will Hill, and we are here on Live Bet Saturday. A lot of baseball games about to start, and one football game too about to start. We'll keep an eye on those for you. But coming up right now is a special guest. He is the winner of the 2025 Circa Friday Football Invitational. And believe me, during the commercial break, all I heard from him also was Yankees talk. He is Chris Macero on the Progressive Guest Line. You can follow him at Real Gage. That's G-A-D-G-E. Chris, please don't talk Yankees, but how are you doing today, sir?

**Chris Macero** (1:55)
I was texting with Will a little bit earlier today about an angle I found, and it's been, you know, I can't give it out now, but maybe for tomorrow. But eight of the last nine Yankee games have resulted in a nerfy. No one scores in these games. The Yankees just, without the big boppers in the lineup, and, you know, Wombat Jr. gave them a little spark for a little bit, but no one's hitting on the team, and they just aren't putting any runs together. Two runs in the last two days on nine hits. You know, Schlittler was battling today. Tough, tough lineup in Toronto. Doesn't allow a lot of strikeouts. Works to count a lot.
But the rest of the Yankees' lineup just is not producing, and if Judge doesn't come back, I just, I'm pretty much counting this team out for a long run.
As we were talking during the break, it's, you know, it's kind of how baseball is these days. No one really hits well. Only nine guys hitting over 300 You know, the Red Sox had their big streak of good offense, and, you know, they're in trouble now, too. They're not able to hit as well. A lot of these teams going through some droughts. And if you're not the Nationals or the Cubs, when the wind's blowing out, it doesn't seem like many teams are scoring a lot of runs these days.

**Will Hill** (3:02)
All right, Chris, speaking to your Red Sox, I mean, we always say baseball is a long season. It's a season of streaks. No better example than Boston. They can't lose for 40 days pretty much. And now the last week, they played pretty bad baseball. They're a slight favorite in Pittsburgh. I keep waiting for Pittsburgh get going. You and I know are not big fans of the manager, even though you and I got future bets on them. But it's Sunny Gray against Jared Jones. The total is seven and a half. Any thoughts on this game? It's just big picture. How you figure out here a Boston team that's been very inconsistent.

**Chris Macero** (3:31)
Yeah, I was talking to mutual friend here, Jimmy Ott this week about how the Major League Baseball season is almost morphed into like an NBA game where your team has no chance and all of a sudden you're going a 22 to nothing run and you're definitely going to win and then all of a sudden you blow the game at the end. It's kind of like a little synopsis of the Major League Baseball season where you're totally out of it like the Red Sox. They go on this big streak and now they can't hit again.
I haven't played it as much as the Yankees, but I have played it a few times this week with the Nerf in the first inning. The Red Sox haven't been able to put much together.
