We go through periods where we may go a month without a trade. We're in a period now where we're probably going to be trading multiple times a week. There's a lot of unknowns. There's a lot of volatility. A lot of bad things can happen. A lot of good things can happen. And we are basically letting the market tell us what it knows. Right now, we're back in a technically bullish picture.

Welcome to Thoughtful Money. I'm Thoughtful Money Founder and your host, Adam Taggart, welcoming you here at the end of the week for another weekly market recap, this time featuring my good friend, portfolio manager, Mike Lebowitz. Mike, how you doing?

**Michael Lebowitz** (1:44)
Doing great, Adam. Thanks for having me.

**Adam Taggart** (1:47)
Thanks for coming on. Glad we could kick that Lance Roberts clown to the curb here, huh?

**Michael Lebowitz** (1:51)
We should let England keep them. We don't need them anymore, right?

**Adam Taggart** (1:55)
Yeah, exactly, exactly. So folks, regular viewers may remember, Lance told us last week he was gonna be over in England this week, just kicking back, eating tea and crumpets or whatever he likes to do when he's over there. So that gave us the opportunity to bring in the bigger batter and better portfolio manager at RIA, that's Michael, of course. So Michael, ceasefire this week, if it will stand, which looks very tenuous at the moment. But that seems to have been enough to give the market a real dose of optimism here on the day we're talking. I think the S&P is up as close to almost 500 points since it's low from a few days ago.

**Michael Lebowitz** (2:37)
Sounds about right. Yeah, I think the market, look, the market was turning up before the ceasefire a little bit. A lot was kind of leading into that, and the ceasefire, whether it holds or doesn't hold, I think is a huge improvement from where we were, where there were no signs that anyone was talking to anyone, and that the hyperbole from both sides was getting pretty extreme. You know, to the point of Trump's last tweet before he, or last post on True Social, basically saying he's going to decimate Iran.

**Adam Taggart** (3:17)
I'm going to end the Persian civilization, essentially.

**Michael Lebowitz** (3:20)
Yeah, yeah, end civilization. And, you know, at that lowest worst point, shortly then came a ceasefire with, you know, like all ceasefires, they don't seem to be perfect. But generally, I think it's enough to show the market that there's discussions, and that's what the market wanted to see.

**Adam Taggart** (3:43)
Okay. I want to talk about the market reaction just a second, but I want to note the private discussion I had last night with somebody who was fairly well informed. They were saying that we all get whiplash trying to follow the developments, right? And one thing that said one minute is contradicted the next minute. And of course, a big factor in that is Trump, because that's just his natural style, right? Very mercurial and I think intentional to keep people guessing what he's going to do next. But then on the Iranian side, they were explaining one of the reasons why there's so many contradictions coming out of there, especially about what's in their 10-point plan or whatnot, is the Iranian command and control was intentionally designed to be very decentralized, right? So that if its top leaders were taken out, the individual cells across the country could still operate more or less effectively.
