Mariah Carey on Thursday, Money.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:04)
This is my favorite Mariah Carey song.

**Craig Carton** (0:06)
Right? Money.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:07)
Money.

888-808-109 is the phone number to join. That's the afternoon fan line sponsored by Verizon Business, taking 12 year mobile plan with something they like to call My Biz Plan. So there you go. Listen, awesome, awesome day. Tomorrow's gonna be a little more of the same than of course Monday. It's gonna be a letdown, but not for us. We're ready to rock and roll Monday, wall to wall. Anthony Volpe talk.
First triple of the year, 12 RBI's now.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:40)
Oh baby.

**Craig Carton** (0:40)
I saw it. Another 10 run game for the Yanks.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:43)
There will be a time to talk Yankees soon and I know I'm the shill in everything, but all seriousness without getting too pie in the sky, you gotta be impressed with what the Yankees have done here. They lost Aaron Judge and again, May 22nd, they've lost the Friday night game to the Tampa Bay Rays. They were seven games in the loss column heading into that next day. The next day got rained out and they played Sunday. It was supposed to be a three game set, it was a two game set. They lost that first Friday night. Cole's first game back.
They had the lead, they blew it in the eighth. They were seven games back in the loss column. Behind Tampa. They hit the walk-off home run on the Sunday, Judge is the walk-off home run, pretty much doesn't play again. I know he played in those series.

**Craig Carton** (1:20)
That was a low-scoring game, if I remember right.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:21)
It was a low-scoring game. They hit, I think it was, he hits a home run to make it 3-2 or something like that. I can't remember the exact score. But he hits that walk-off home run. Since that moment, the Rays have been awful. I think they're seven and 15
The Yankees have been hot. They are now three games up in the loss column. They went from seven down, tied in the ninth, looking at eight games back.

**Craig Carton** (1:43)
Eight games back.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:44)
In late May. So you're saying you're saying eight games back in the face.

**Craig Carton** (1:47)
You're saying, met fans should view the second half with hope?

**Chris McMonigle** (1:51)
I'm saying, well, yes, that's partly, but I just think to do what they've done here, and yes, it takes Tampa Bay losing, but in a month, they were right there. He hits that walk-off home run and their season changed even without them. Even without Judge now, they have gone on a really nice run. They've played well without them. They scored a ton of runs. The White Sox came in playing well. The White Sox just beat the Dodgers two out of three. They're in first place. And they've come in and been embarrassed by the Yankees in this offense.

**Craig Carton** (2:17)
Yankees are 16-4 in their last 20 games.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:20)
16-4 in their last 20

**Craig Carton** (2:22)
That's 80% baseball.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:23)
That's 8-4 without Judge.

**Craig Carton** (2:25)
Winning percentage.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:26)
Yeah, it's great. And without Judge, they're 8-4. And their offense is scoring damn near six runs a game without Judge.

**Craig Carton** (2:31)
10, 12, 8, 3, 5, 8 That's what they've done in the last seven games as far as runs scored.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:39)
Now look, it's not going to last forever, but right now Paul Goldschmidt's been great. And you just have to admit, like, it was scary when he had that injury. You thought this team, you were really wondering what the offense was.

**Craig Carton** (2:48)
No Max Fried, I know Aaron Judge.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:49)
No Max Fried still, yeah, look at that.

**Craig Carton** (2:51)
Right, best lefty in baseball, best power hitter in baseball.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:53)
Gresham was about their hottest hitter.

**Craig Carton** (2:55)
And no Stanton.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:56)
No Stanton, no Gresham.

**Craig Carton** (2:57)
And Wells has sucked this year.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:58)
Wells has sucked. He had two home runs today in minor leagues, which I don't normally care about, but considering he hasn't driven the baseball at all this year.

**Craig Carton** (3:04)
He had to have a cranial headache or something.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:05)
Yeah, he was having these headaches that were stemming from his neck, I guess, but I guess everything's better. I don't know. But no Judge, no Stanton, no Grisham, no Max Fried, and they are still the class of the American League and turned a seven game deficit into a three game lead in a month.
