They had the press conferences today, and the French douche has done it again. When asked about the prospects of coming back from 3-1 down in the series, Wemby said everybody knows we're gonna do it.

That if it's a one-possession game and the Spurs need a bucket to win or go to overtime and you have the ball in your hands, you're not gonna win.

Because you had two free throws to win a game, you missed them both. You had the possession of the ball, threw it away off of Castle's back. And when you had an open look to win game two, you brick that one also.
That's who you are right now.

There's no doubt. Now to be fair to him, and I'm not inclined to be, but I think he means his team.
Not necessarily everyone on the planet, but everyone in their circle, everyone on the Spurs. But at the same time, I don't think he's honest there either. I don't think everyone on the Spurs knows they're gonna win.

I think it's very hard to convince yourself you're gonna win down 3-1 blowing leads the way they've blown them, and losing that game the way they lost it in the manner of game four. I don't think they're very, they would be one hell of a mentally strong team if they all had this common belief that they're gonna win three in a row. Full of crap.

But remember what his flagrant fouls this postseason have been. You had the elbow to the face and throat of Nas Reid.

The elbow, although I do think on this one, it was not on purpose, doesn't matter. Yeah. The elbow to Cat's mouth, the refs have no choice. Now, I think if it's a questionable call, then yeah, I could see the refs continuing to curry favor to him. But if it's based on something you can't deny seeing, at this stage, because they've done it once, and that's the Brunson play. We all saw it, they saw it, they reviewed it, they avoided it. Why?
Because in their dream scenario, he doesn't get himself kicked out.

You can't, he bet it with those long legs, they better not be underneath any of the shooter's feet when they come down. Like there, he's going to be tentative on close outs, he might be more tentative playing defense physical. Like I'm sorry, the idea that, well now they won't call it because they refuse to, I mean listen, even Jerry Wilkins in here called him the the face of the NBA and they don't want to see the face of the NBA gone, like I get it, but there are certain things you cannot do that they will be forced to call a flagrant one and I think he has to act accordingly. I think you can see a more tentative defender.
