Four o'clock, straight up. Espen Wye joins us now as well. Or surely they will.
I think the Mets, did they beat the Cartons today?

**Chris McMonigle** (0:07)
They got a victory.

**Craig Carton** (0:08)
They did.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:09)
Mets got a victory.

**Craig Carton** (0:09)
Seems like thanks to Ansono, the Mets actually got a win.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:12)
Ansono with a solo homerun that broke the tie of 4-4, made it 5-4. Weaver and Williams.

**Craig Carton** (0:17)
He also scored the run to tie the game too, on a gap double. Maybe even a single scored from second base on it. Should have been thrown out at the plate, catcher dropped the ball. But it just shows you last night, it's funny. Did you even know that the Mets played last night?
Let's be honest about it. Raise your hands if you knew the Mets played last night.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:35)
I knew they played.

**Craig Carton** (0:35)
You guys are crazy.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:37)
I mean, I knew they played.

**Craig Carton** (0:37)
I didn't know they played last night.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:38)
They lost.

**Craig Carton** (0:39)
9-2. I found out this morning.
See, that's the difference between us. When I'm laser-focused on a sporting event, I'm laser-focused on it.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:47)
But I didn't watch all of it.

**Craig Carton** (0:48)
Did you watch any of it?

**Chris McMonigle** (0:50)
Not live, no.

**Craig Carton** (0:51)
Okay, good. I went back and watched part of the fourth quarter last night, you decided to turn on a 9-2 medal loss.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:58)
I watched a lot of it this morning.

**Craig Carton** (1:00)
Yuck. Why did you put yourself through that? By the way, Gallo was at the Garden last night. And he's not a great interviewer in that he's nervous around actual human beings.
So at one point he bumped into John Turturro. And I'm a big fan of John Turturro's.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:17)
Who isn't?

**Craig Carton** (1:18)
Obviously hasn't been in anything in 25 years. But he's a New York guy and he's a New York actor.
All right, and you're very nervous, I saw.

**Anthony Gallo** (1:27)
No, I wasn't.

**Craig Carton** (1:53)
He was in Rihanna by the way, his wife.

**Anthony Gallo** (1:55)
Do you see it in my face? Do you hear it in my voice? I went out there, I'm on two hours of sleep for this city. And I was actually trying to get Andrea Guadala and then realized...

**Craig Carton** (2:05)
You couldn't book Andrea Guadala?

**Anthony Gallo** (2:07)
Well there was... there's thousands of people outside the stadium.

**Craig Carton** (2:10)
Yeah did you see Iman Shumpert wearing a Shumpert jersey out on the streets? Which is kind of strange.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:19)
Yeah I did see that video.

**Craig Carton** (2:20)
By the way, that's such a try hard right there. Look at me everybody, look at me. He was wearing his actual Knicks jersey.
Why do you think people are bothering you? Because you want the attention.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:31)
Of course.

**Craig Carton** (2:32)
Which is an interesting thing about the celebrities that are there. Look there's some legitimate New Yorkers there. There's some legitimate Knicks fans there for sure. But then there's also a lot of Johnny Kamlele's that show up. I saw the VIP list. You have the celebrity list of folks that are at the Garden.
The one celebrity that I have to give major major credit to, who yes got a free ticket to go, so that's part of the deal, but didn't want to make it about herself. And I gotta tell you, in a city where every celebrity that goes to Madison Square Garden wants it to be known that they're at Madison Square Garden, right? There's one major major, I would think right now we'd all classify her as an A-list celebrity, I think you agreed with me once I tell you the woman's name, who specifically told the garden, I don't want to sit in the front row.
I'd rather sit like 20 years up. So if you're happy to give me a ticket, I don't need to be shown on the Jumbotron, I don't need to be in any type of VIP room, I'm happy just being in the building to watch the Knicks play.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:38)
Is that a cop out though?

**Craig Carton** (3:39)
No, I appreciate it.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:40)
Part of the reason you get the free ticket is so that you can provide that content for The Garden.

**Craig Carton** (3:43)
Yes, but that's part of it. But the flip side of it is...

**Chris McMonigle** (3:46)
I wanna go but I don't wanna do any of the stuff.
