Before I get to these calls on the Mets, I'll ask you one giant question, and then I will run a bunch of calls for you to participate with here. And Mendoza and the Mets and David Stearns talking today.
Do you think right now as you sit here today, unequivocally that Jaxson Dart is a legitimate franchise quarterback? Because he's acting like one.

Well, you know that yours truly just became friends with one Jaxson Dart.

I did not know that.

**Paul Virzi** (0:34)
Like, and like, at first it was a little bit like, hey, we're just at a game. Then it was a little bit of, you know, and I got to tell you something. I watched Jaxson Dart watch the Knicks win, and he took it in, and he was taking, and I went out.

He went to San Antonio for one of the games also.

**Paul Virzi** (0:52)
And I saw him there for a couple games. So we start talking. And I saw him watch it. And I go, I go, hey, you got an X, right? And he just looked, and he goes, and he just stayed watchin. But here's what I noticed about him. And this is the truth, I'm not just saying this.
No drinking, looking at his iPad, looking at film, like at times where, and like not doing it to like, really like talking to people about this. I'm gonna say this. I think, ready for this? A big statement.

**Paul Virzi** (1:19)
Not only do I think, is he a franchise quarterback of the future, I think he's going to start to make like, I think you're starting to look at maybe the next Joe Burrow in the league. That's okay.

**Craig Carton** (1:31)
I mean, if Giants fans hear that, they love it.

**Paul Virzi** (1:33)
Look, I think so. I think he's got the right coach now. I just, I think, I think the Giants are coming. I do. And I just, I don't see how that team with a better coach and more talent and some experience and now health. What I wish though is, what are they doing with this turf? It's driving me nuts.

We put grass in for soccer. That's what I'm saying. Just leave it there. You obviously have the technology to do it.

To answer your question, Jaxson Dart is a cool dude, man.

He's definitely cool. He's got the hot girlfriend. He's got all the trappings of being the face of an NFL franchise. And what all I said about him was, and I think it's all great, you should enjoy every bit of this life. And take advantage of every opportunity you get. You know, if, if Al Patagonia wants to put you on Apollo Jet and take you to San Antonio, do it.

Right? But then there comes a point where you got to shut all that crap down and now go be the quarterback of the New York Giants.

No, like this dude, like I saw a guy locked in. And like I saw multiple, and he was just like, no, drinking his water. And then, you know, then I got a little tuned up. Right. And I started open my mouth. I was like, you know, yeah, I was like, you do it. I was like, don't listen to Stephen A. I just started again. Don't listen to Stephen A. Smith. What's he talking about? You're going to be fine. I was hammered. And I was just going to be fine, dude. You don't need any of that.
