341 on a fan.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:01)
What happened there?

**Craig Carton** (0:01)
Perfect ending, Pete, way to go on that, buddy.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:03)
I love that. I love when it just abruptly cuts out out of nowhere.

**Craig Carton** (0:06)
Let's go live to Madison Square Garden right now.
Our own Anthony Gallo got him a press pass for tonight's game. So he's very happy with me right now.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:16)
Yeah, it's a little Chewbacca. Hold on.

**Craig Carton** (0:19)
He went with the man bun tonight.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:21)
Of course he did.

**Craig Carton** (0:22)
A button down shirt.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:23)
Button down with black button down blue pants.

**Craig Carton** (0:24)
I got him a nice untucked shirt for tonight. And he's got some pants on.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:28)
His fiancé is definitely approving of his outfit today.

**Craig Carton** (0:30)
Oh, he's getting something tonight.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:31)
Getting something. I just don't spill any, you know, dumpling sauce on it.

**Craig Carton** (0:35)
Good point. Here's Anthony now.
Anthony, where exactly are you outside the garden or did you get in yet?

**Anthony Gallo** (0:41)
I am standing on the corner of 7th and 31st. And let me just tell you this. I'm the only person not wearing Knicks gear besides NYPD and what I assume is Secret Service. But it is budget right now. You would not know they're about to close down this street in about a half hour.

**Craig Carton** (0:57)
Yeah, well 4 o'clock so even less than that. 15, 18 minutes right now. The barricades go up and just real quick for people that don't know. You can't drive it all between 29th and 35th and from 6th to 8th. So a decent amount of a real estate obviously. You're also not going to let anybody walk on their streets unless you have a ticket to the game obviously. You have a trainer bus pass or you have a reservation at any one of the restaurants or hotels in that area. So while it sounds like it's completely shut down, it's not. It is shut down to all car traffic. But if you have a ticket, if you have a train or a bus, if you have a reservation at a hotel or a restaurant, obviously you'll be able to get through that area. So is there a line where you're trying to enter the building right now or not yet?

**Anthony Gallo** (1:48)
Not yet. There's actually it just seems normal right now. There is a huge police presence specifically on 31st Street. It's completely blocked off. But people are freely walking right now, but they are definitely getting the barricades up. Okay. They are prepping. But you could definitely feel the buzz around the garden right now. And when I, you know, obviously I had to be a professional because that's what I am, but I am the only person that is not law enforcement, not wearing mixed gear right now.

**Craig Carton** (2:13)
Well, that's expected. Look, it's the city, you know, it has embraced the New York Knicks in a way that we thought they would if the Knicks ever got to this exact spot right now. Which all, which that means for you, Gallo, is that everyone out there in a Nick jersey right now thinks you're undercover.
Yeah.

**Anthony Gallo** (2:33)
Yes, man bun, definitely the look of an undercover, slightly wrinkled button down shirt, that is the look.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:40)
I definitely would get away with it.

**Craig Carton** (2:43)
So here's what I'd like you to do, as you now make your way into Madison Square Garden, as a working member of the press, give us a shout back once you're inside the building, because obviously the only people inside the building now will be garden employees, obviously security staff, cops, secret service, et cetera, and the media. So you'll give us a sense of being in an empty garden as we get ready. I think the doors open up a couple hours, a little bit even earlier than normal, because they know the wait to get in today.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:14)
It's gonna be crazy.

**Craig Carton** (3:15)
So I'll double check with the garden what time you can officially enter the building, but I think it's earlier than normal. In any event, Gallo is there. He'll be out there all night. He'll also try to participate to the best he can in our halftime show and our postgame show.
But obviously, you do what you gotta do while you're in there for the station. And just give us a shout back if anything happens or once you get inside, okay?
