I was just saying to you before we came on, that the last time I saw you was on WFN, I was doing Mornings with Boomer, and I think you were making your debut.

And I remember talking to you, Pops obviously as well, like, you know, the whole thing about you now getting into wrestling.

He's my biggest fan.

I know, I know. But so all these years later, is it everything you thought it would be?

Everything and more. And I'm just as passionate, just as hungry. I love what I do. I wake up every day excited for what I do. But most importantly, the fans are the heartbeat of what we do. And I love entertaining you guys.

Do you ever walk into your room like this and have that little teeny bit of doubt or insecurity, are they going to show up?

Do you still have that at all?

I think talking in front of like 30 people is more intimidating than say like 102 at AT&T Stadium.

Wait till they come up and say hi. Yeah.
Because one of the beauties of like wrestling fans, which obviously span generations now, it's, and I always find it interesting when people come up to me or to Big Mac, and they'll be like, hey, remember when you said, and whatever it might be, hey, remember that time, and you must get that ten times more than I get that. Like, hey, remember that time at WrestleMania when, hey, remember that time when CM Punk borrowed your outfit? Hey, remember, you know what I'm saying?

Wait, I have, yes.
I think he had been trying to get my attention for like five minutes, and I was talking to two of the boys that just had a match, and we were talking about their match, it was Mello and Trick Williams, and then I look over and I see like the collar of my robe. I'm like, what the? And I go in there and he has it. He couldn't even get it on. And then he was like, no, follow me on my entrance, which is so cool because like when the guys want to incorporate the women in part of the show.

I just got to take my hands now or my wrists for a match.

Do you, it's weird, like growing up in it the way you did, do you have a different appreciation?
Not just much for your dad and his generation of wrestlers and the women, they were early starters. You know, when women got involved, not just as your side showcases, but actual wrestlers and championships, do you have a different appreciation having done it now than you thought you might just grow up in it?

**Charlotte Flair** (3:25)
Oh, for sure. Like, I definitely understand my dad now more and why, you know, wrestling was his first love and how much, you know, it became a part of him. I mean, he is the Nature Boy day in, day out.
But it also allowed me to have a closer bond with him as well, because when I first started, I don't think he knew how to connect with me, because it's just something you have to go through, live through, work through. And then like three years in when he became my manager, then it was like, it was game on. But I still don't ask for his advice because I'm like, dad, you're so freaking biased. Like, tell me what I did wrong. He's like, honey, you could do nothing wrong. I'm like, you are not helping me at all. Yeah.
