Game three is here. The city is alive. The city is buzzing. We've got closures everywhere. We got the president coming. But more important than any of it, we are two games away from an NBA championship. And we're here to discuss all of it. The game, of course, the results of game two. Looking forward to game three tonight. How you get there, how it's going to be a pain in the rear end for a lot of people, where you're watching the game. And this is now, I think, without argument, the biggest sporting event in New York City.
In a very, very long time. You could argue that tonight's game, and should they win it then, Wednesday night's game for sure will be the biggest sporting event, maybe since 96, in this city or beyond that. But it doesn't matter. We will focus on today. We will focus on tonight. We, of course, are doing our halftime show again on YouTube. And we're adding a post-game show to that now as well. And let me just start the show off by saying Good afternoon, Big Mac, how are you today?

Oh, I'm doing great, Craig. What a great day to be alive.

And I'm with you. This is as big a moment as I can ever remember. This is as big a moment as I can ever remember. I know the president adds to that a little bit. But like this game, the way they've played, up 2-0 coming home, the ticket prices, everyone wants to be a part of it, everyone wearing Nick Garb, like it's just everything's blue and orange. This is as big as I ever remember. A team and a sporting event in this city, it is, it's unbelievable.

It's awesome. It's incredible. Friday I was at, obviously at the game, at the bar, the bar is insane.

**Craig Carton** (2:06)
Downtown, you're at the Continental, right?

**Chris McMonigle** (2:07)
I was downtown at the Continental on Wall Street and Beaver over there. I don't know the area that well, but I'm there. The bar is absolutely insane, packed with people. It was just so much fun. The vibe, the atmosphere, everybody's into it. Everybody's in to every single possession. From the jump, every single basket got a huge applause. Every single basket, the most were the Mitch Free Throws.

Let me ask you a quick question. When Wembay throws the ball off Castle's back and Brunson gets it, Wembay fouls him, the place must have erupted, right?

Erupted.

Awesome.

No, it was an incredible moment. The miss shot and obviously the game winner went nuts. Every single Mitch Free Throw made was very, they're smart enough to be sarcastic even in the bar.
It was an incredible experience. I don't know if I love it because I love to be involved in the game. You don't hear the broadcast that well. I think I'd rather just be the loser on my couch. Just focus on it.

I'll get that tonight, but no. This is as good as it gets, man.

**Craig Carton** (3:05)
How are the people in the bar reacting to the horrendous officiating in game two? Now, the NBA did rescind the technical foul. Yeah. I guess, Mitch Robin says they should have. It should have been a double-tech or nothing, in my opinion, but. Absolutely.
Look, the Knicks overcame a poor fourth quarter, which they've not had a lot of this postseason. They've been the best fourth quarter team by far in basketball. You know, blow a 14-point lead, have the referees stacked against them, and still found a way to win. And again, the other team makes mistakes that the Knicks don't make. And in this case, obviously Brunson misses that shot. Wembay gets the rebound. He has brought the ball up a lot for them. You can see Castle first telling him, slow down and then ask for the ball.
And then realizes, well, Wembay can bring it up. So I'm now going to pivot and turn again in my spot. And obviously the timing for us was perfect. He makes the pass off his back, which now erases the Mark Sanchez butt fumble, I think, from the Angels of New York.
