We're going to have a hell of a show for you today because I'm still drunk from last night, didn't sleep a wink, and it's the best night without sleep I've had in a very, very long time. Obviously, we'll get into the nitty-gritty of the greatest comeback of all time. We'll try to figure out where it stands in New York City sports history, and we'll go over the global effect of that win last night. Good afternoon, Big Mac, how are you?

I could not be doing any better, Craig. That was, what an incredible night. What an incredible night to be a sports fan, what an incredible night to be a Nick fan. That was as good as it gets.
Treasure it, enjoy it today, because I don't know if we'll ever get better than that. That is one of the great games, one of the great moments you will ever see.

The only thing that comes close to it for me, if I go apples to apples, is game 686, where they were dead and gone, had no chance to come back and win, have that magical ninth inning, of course, the Mookie Wilson dribbler threw Buckner's legs, and that gave them a chance to then play again and win a championship or World Series for them against the Red Sox the next night. This obviously is pretty damn close. While they can't win the championship last night, they can now win the title on Saturday night, and that's the best comp if you're looking for a comp. We can go through that throughout the day as well. All I can say is what we said last night on our YouTube special.
This is what is so great about being a sports fan. This is why a radio station like WFAN exists. This is why we always talk about sports is the great uniter, right? And anything can happen on any night. Because what we saw last night, nobody on this current planet has ever witnessed anything like it before. And you can kind of view it, I think, one of two ways, right? Depending on what glasses you're looking through. Either A, from a Spurs perspective, one of the biggest chokes in the history of sports.
It's the Atlanta Falcons choking, you know, 28-3, 35-3, whatever it was, against the New England Patriots, right? From a Knicks perspective, it's the greatest, greediest comeback in the history of sports. It might be both at the same time also. But at half time, I want to be very clear about this because our colleagues have decided throughout the day today to take some veiled shots at us. First off, I'd be shocked if they watched the game. Alright? I'd be shocked if they watched the game.
You know, Boomer and Greg are playing golf most of the time, so I doubt they watched the game. Tiki admitted he claims he listened to the game on the radio. Yeah, he was on a plane. On a plane. I've never been on a plane when there's a radio. But that's neither here nor there. So you guys can all take your shots at us for claiming at half time on the YouTube show that the series was tied 2-2 and the game was over. If you said anything other than that, you're a fraud. You're just a homer saying positive things for the sake of saying positive things. There was no rationale at half time last night, the way the New York Knicks played in the first half to conjure up the possibility of coming back from 29 points down. I'm thrilled that they did. But this is also a mistake a lot of immature radio hosts make and hosts without a great deal of success typically make.
We're not the story today.
And as soon as you start talking about your prediction, my prediction, his prediction, that's all ego. That's you trying to make the story about yourselves. We're not here to do that. Yes, at half time, we both said it's a wrap. How could you have said anything other than that? But I'm not the story today, you're not the story today. The story today is about seven levels deep. And one of the great stories that should be told today is not just the Jalen Brunson 36-point night, not just the 33-point night from OG Anunoby and the great Put Back, which obviously we're going to get to, in depth today. It's the fact that Mike Brown proved to the world last night why analytics are stupid.
