Some really good baseball numbers to look at tonight on the card. Also, Christopher Smith does a great job covering the Boston Red Sox. He'll join the program at the bottom of the hour. Well, good to be with you guys. Happy Friday. I've been hanging out at Cirque a little bit for Bet Bash at night, not getting a whole lot of sleep, but nonetheless, good to be with you guys here.

So we'll talk a little WNBA for tonight. Maybe some tomorrow as well. Let's begin here. Was that you are you're very good at finding spots overall in sports betting. Also the WNBA, as we have discussed before.
I missed this one on the board last night. I mean, I certainly would never would have bet against the links to lose the game outright. But was that a look classic look ahead spot you think with the Aces looming tomorrow?

Yeah. And on top of that, they had won a million games in a row. So I think it was a little bit of everything. I, a guy who, math models, WNBA, I talked to every day in Handicap, he was all about the Sparks. And I said, I just can't get there. They're terrible. I think they're tanking, all that stuff. And once I saw the game unfolding, I did grab plus 11 Of course, I didn't take the nut number, but didn't need it. I mean, this game was an eight point game early in the fourth. So it wasn't like this was a complete egg laid by Minnesota. But the reason it's hard to kind of fade the links is they're just so efficient offensively. They don't do dumb things. Everyone's open. They do the pick and pops, open three. So it's really hard.
They're not a team where if they like mail it in, like the Aces, they could, they can just get blown out by 30 Cause so much of what the Aces do is like through Asia Wilson, just the offensive structure and system kind of usually means avoiding the flat spot for the links. But Cheryl Reeve was dropping F bombs, everything on the post game, talking about their defense. And yes, the defense was very loose. It lacked intensity, which typically happens in look ahead spots or flat spots. So the Sparks were able to score and they hit a lot of big shots. I mean, the Sparks were making shots. You just do not see them make, whether it be contested floaters in the lane or just open threes by a lot of players who don't typically bomb. So it was a really good performance at LA off of bad loss. It was a great situational handicap. Again, I got involved late, very small, but I just couldn't see the Sparks playing that well. But sure enough, they are.
The player they got in the trade for Kelsey Plum played really well. It's a little bit of a ball hog, but I think that could be someone to monitor for player props moving forward.

All right, excellent. So around the world tomorrow in the early game against the Aces?

Textbook and the cherry on top of this is the Aces have the links. Sorry, the Liberty on Sundays, you guys talked about earlier in the show.
They really hate the Liberty. There's a rivalry there, the Commissioner's Cup, everything. The links are a team that some teams don't really want to get up for it because there's such a pain to guard. Again, I mentioned that offense, the pick and pop. I think this is a smash job. I'd grab the four and a half now. I'd scout the money line. I've been a bet first quarter, first half. I just think the links off that, sorry, the Aces off that massive win and what Cheryl Reeves doing and everything. I think this is just a two. It's as good of a spot as you want. Like I don't have Sunday morning's newspaper, but come on. What more do you want? 16-point favorite losing outright, very good coach, calling out the team, very talented team that pays attention to detail, all the good stuff and they're excellent defensively. And then the Aces who really are kind of like a little long in the tooth with Chelsea Gray and Asia Well, and they have the Liberty on deck. They just beat the Fever, which was a revenge spot after getting crushed at home a couple of weeks ago, overtime, dramatic win on the road.
