All right, Tuesday edition of the program starts right now. Thank you all for joining us here on Fifty Plus, the generation that we knew great was cool. It was a cool color long before it suddenly came cool on cars and walls and designer clothes. We wear our gray too on our heads mostly.
Let's take a look at the weather, shall we? How about this? For the next seven days, according to the same forecast outlet, by the way, that's missed miserably for the past two weeks and weekends. Maybe they'll get this one right. And if they do, we've got a lot of good chances for rain coming and we could use it, frankly. It's been a while since they forecast rain that didn't occur. Now they're forecasting it again, and hopefully we'll get a shot. We've got a significant chance for rain at or higher than 50% for five of the next seven days. Low pressure hanging around again, so throw an umbrella in the car. Don't change your plans yet. It's cloudy and whatnot, but I don't know that we have any rain. I haven't looked at the Weather Channel radar today at all. On the bright side, though, it'll be a touch cooler all week. 91 today, then mid to high 80s the rest of the week. That's what that little blanket is doing for us with the high sunshine, stopping some of it from getting to our skin anyway. We're officially into overnight lows closer to 80 than 70 now, too, and that's going to last probably through September and maybe in to October. So get that AC checked out and tuned up as soon as you can. And not entirely related to the weather, but this is probably going to be my best shot at slipping this into the show. I got to play not one, but two enjoyable rounds of golf since last we met. On Saturday, I played at Darmor Club out near Columbus. That's, of course, how Sutton designed and built a couple of years ago now. The tournament was for the Boys and Girls Club, and it was for a charity tournament. It was a different format, which I kind of like. Ninety percent of these things are four-person scrambles. This was two best balls out of the foursome. And that was, it was very different. It was very enjoyable because we all got to play our well. It would have been more enjoyable if I could have used other people's drives on a couple of holes. But nonetheless, you're out there playing your own ball on a fantastic golf course, and we had a really, really good time. I got to ride with Hal Sutton, by the way. That was the highlight of my day right there, just riding around and visiting with him. I've known the man for quite some time, and really admire and expect, and respect what he does, not just for golf either, just for anybody and everybody around him. He's pretty doggone generous, and a lot of people may not know that, but he's just really relaxed and enjoying his life now, and he had to remind me four or five times to not worry about hitting bad shots, because we all do. And just he doesn't hit as many as I do. That's kind of the way it went. Had a great team.
Gosh. It was Shannon Fish, and if I said the man's name, I'd get it wrong, I'm sure I would, but what a joy it was to play with all four, or all three of them. I don't know that they would say the same about playing with me, but it turned out well. We didn't win anything, but we all had a good time, and the Boys and Girls Club out there had a great time because they made a lot of money. Same song yesterday at TPC Houston down in Sugarland where I played in an event for the Ark of Fort Bend, amazing organization actually that takes care of children and young adults with disabilities. I met some wonderful people there and played golf with a handful of them all day. The Ark provides just tons of resources to families that need it and hosts all sorts of events for the kids especially, and a golf tournament that was a really enjoyable event, except for the heat. Oh, that heat, it was tough, but we made it through and we got finished right on time, which was very good, and that's unusual these days in a lot of these things.
