**Craig Carton** (0:00)
Here's Frankie in Levittown on the fan. Frank, good afternoon, pal, how are you?
**Frankie** (0:04)
How are we doing, Craig? How's everything?
**Craig Carton** (0:06)
Can you name a famous mic?
**Frankie** (0:12)
Honestly, I really wasn't expecting that, Craig, but I literally just had 20 in my head before that.
**Craig Carton** (0:16)
Yeah, but I didn't ask you to do like Chinese arithmetic.
**Frankie** (0:19)
Michael Strahan, Michael Strahan, we'll do that.
**Craig Carton** (0:21)
Michael Strahan, there you go, nice job.
**Frankie** (0:23)
Michael Vick!
**Craig Carton** (0:24)
That is another one, now we're rolling.
**Frankie** (0:25)
Yeah, Michael Vick too, yeah, actually that was my first football jersey.
**Craig Carton** (0:27)
All right, there you go. All right, what do you got?
**Frankie** (0:30)
Well, one thing I just wanted to shout out to Zach, because I'm a big fan of his. I met you in game one of the Eastern Conference Finals when Haliburton put that three in on us. I don't know if you remember, but I'm a big fan of yours. I just want to say congratulations.
**Craig Carton** (0:43)
So you're talking about not this past year, the year before that, and the shot that went 30 feet above the rim and somehow fell through?
**Zach Gelb** (0:50)
I was in a sweet, I was drinking a little bit, so I don't know if I remember.
**Craig Carton** (0:54)
Well, there you go. So I'm glad it was that nice to you. Did he give you the time of day? Did he big time you?
**Zach Gelb** (0:58)
What did he do?
**Frankie** (0:58)
Oh, of course. Of course, yeah. I think we had a drink together. He asked me for a little bit. It wasn't too bad.
**Craig Carton** (1:04)
And just out of curiosity, of all the people on Sports Talk Radio, you might have recognized or known, like at what level did you put Zach Gelb out where you were like, this is awesome. I got to meet Zach Gelb.
**Frankie** (1:15)
Well, he's no Craig Carton, I'll tell you that.
**Craig Carton** (1:17)
No, I'm not comparing me to him at all. That's not fair. I've just done it longer.
**Frankie** (1:21)
Yeah, that's true. No, I was pretty excited. He was doing like those little skits for like the 60 Seconds skits or whatever, and I recognized his name from that.
**Craig Carton** (1:29)
Let me ask you a quick question, because I dealt with this at the FanisFest last weekend. It still pisses me off, okay?
As Pete can attest, I must have taken a thousand pictures, and I love it. Like I'm never going to say no, it's great that people think that of the show of me, whatever it might be, to ask me for a photograph. So of the thousands of pictures I took Thursday, Friday and Sunday, this one jackass goes on Twitter. And it bothers me to my core, because I've never been accused of it in 35 years of doing this, up until this weekend, and it was on Twitter, not in person, all right? So I'm not the best open-mouth smileer when it comes to pictures. If you look at any picture I take like the professional ones for the station, you don't see my teeth. I have my lips are together and I give it like a smirk. I'm a smirker, okay?
So I'm taking all these pictures and my arms are around the kid, my high-five in this guy pointing at you, all that kind of stuff, whatever it is. I know that my lips are together. I'm a smirker, okay? Because I look like a clown sometimes when I give you the big smile, right? So this guy, rather than look at the picture right away and go, hey, do you mind taking another one? He goes on Twitter and goes, I ruined his kid's life. You should never meet your idols. You look miserable. I can't even share the picture with anybody because you look so miserable.
He doesn't post the picture either for then other people to glam in on me and go, Carton, you're an A-hole. How could you do that? Which means he's lying, obviously. Because if I took a picture where I look miserable and it made a kid feel bad and you want to mock me for that and take a shot at me, you would probably post the picture, wouldn't you?
**Zach Gelb** (3:16)
Yeah.
**Craig Carton** (3:17)
To make me look bad. So there is no picture.
And I always say, I have very thick skin, and I get attacked every day of the week, every minute of the day.
**Zach Gelb** (3:25)
You?
