By the way, while this is not Wu-Tang, Wu-Tang is your half-time entertainment tonight at Madison Square Garden. I know they don't show that really much on TV at all, and you wouldn't have known that Cardi B was the half-time entertainment after Monday night, other than Charles Barkley saying it's more like Cardi D's than Cardi B's, talking about her breast size, Big Mac.

Yeah, that was a reference to her breast size. I wasn't sure if you were aware of that or not, so I figured I'd help you out with that.

In any event, Jim Dolan will join us live in the studio on the eve of the most important and biggest sporting event in New York City easily in the last 25 years. So thrilled to have the owner of the Garden and the Knicks that are joining us today exclusively here on the fan to talk about the watch parties, the lockdown around the building. Now, most businesses were able to still make some money on Monday night. There were some that were negatively impacted by it, maybe even more so than I even thought. But I think we all kind of wrote it off, I know I did, as, look, you know, the president of the United States, it's not the first time he's going to go somewhere, not the last time, where people are going to be put out a little bit. And I think begrudgingly, everyone accepts that. But he's not there tonight.
And the fact that the mayor's office has once again shut down that area is very concerning to me for a couple of reasons. One, you're negatively impacting thousands of Nick fans and New Yorkers. That have enjoyed going there throughout this playoff run. And that's kind of become like their home away from home, right? But here's the other part of it that I'm concerned about now.
When the Knicks win the championship, it's going to be the biggest parade I think this town has ever had down the Canyon of Heroes. I think you're talking about upwards of three million people.

Yeah, for the sports championship, it's going to be, yeah.

So the mayor of New York thinks that having 10,000 people outside the Garden, which we have successfully done on how many nights now? Just this postseason alone?

All right. How in the world is our current mayor going to handle three million New Yorkers down the Canyon of Heroes for the parade?

Because if you can't handle one city block with 10,000 people congregated all having a good time, how are you going to handle three million of those people looking to have a good time on a random Wednesday afternoon? Right? And I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but that's the way my brain works.

No, I guess this is his way of handling it.

Now, the mayor's office came out about an hour ago, and their claim, which we'll talk to Jim Dolan about, because we'll get the inside skinny on it, they now claim that the permit that the Garden filed for was for a max of 1,000 people.

Five to 1,000. 500 to 1,000.

And I'm looking at saying, why would Madison Square Garden, who has successfully hosted these watch parties over the last two months with thousands of people suddenly only asked for a permit that allows 500 to 1,000 people?

I wonder if that's pretty much like as large a gathering on the streets as you can ask for, and then it's just like kind of looked the other way when more show up? I don't know.

There's a parade permit. There are gathering permits. You gotta go through city halls to get them.
