Okay, so if you pick a kid, you get to... It's basically like a blind lottery in a way.
You basically send the NFL in an envelope. Well, we would take Brendan Sorsby and make it up. The third round, second round, whatever it is, right? Yep. If no one else laid claim to him in an earlier round or with a higher pick than you have, then he's yours. What you give up to get a kid in the supplemental draft is that pick next year's draft. So if the New York Jets decide, we're willing to give up a second round pick for Sorsby, they lose next year's second round pick, but their own pick. Not if they acquire a pick from someone else. So like if the Jets, which they won't, we're going to give up a first round pick. They have three next year.
