Well, I was not like Forrest Gump's dad, but every time I hear on vacation, I always think of Forrest Gump.
He's on the, is there a Mr. Gump? He's on vacation. So I don't know where Mr. Gump was. I have an idea where Craig is, but I don't know if he wants me spilling the beans, but he's enjoying himself out on vacation and he gets to miss this four game set in New York Yankees. 888-808-1019. But it is time for a little bit of soccer talk cause there's a big game tonight. Now look, I'll be totally honest with you. In my world, there's one game tonight and Cam Schlittler is on the mound. I'll be totally honest with you. I hate to be the jerk, I hate to be the bad guy.
Maybe I'll check in. The kids are sort of into it a little bit so maybe it will be on one of the other TV's. But my focus is strictly on, I just, I'm, if I'm lying, I don't want to be dishonest to the audience. So tonight, yes, big game against Belgium. I'm certainly pulling for that US team. So obviously, the big news of the day is the United States government, the President of the United States, reached out to the head of FIFA and just casually said, hey, look at it. Because he's, he understands soccer very well, the President, and he didn't think it was a foul. He didn't think the red card was warranted. Like many of us don't think the red card was warranted. And FIFA has suspended the red card. And Balogun will be playing tonight. He is able to play. And obviously, there are people who have a problem with him. Just give my take on it. I'll let Gallo give his take on it. Do I think that the President of any country, the leader of any country, should have any sort of hold or power, for lack of a better term, over an independent body like the FIFA World Cup, and help make decisions on how things are officiated? This was a red card. I don't think they had any desire to overturn that red card. And I know now, well, it was an independent committee and blah, blah, blah. But so do I like the idea of going in there and overpowering, or, you know, using influence to get a decision overturned? No, I guess I don't. But I don't know if I care enough to not just say, yeah, the guy's back.

It feels a little dirty. That's what I understand. I don't know if we love it. I don't know if it's the way business should be done. I don't know. We all know how corrupt FIFA is. And I heard someone calling earlier to Evan and Tiki saying, well, he knows how to play the game. Trump, they understand that, hey, this is about influence.
The FIFA World Cup is a little bit corrupt, for lack of a better term.

Well, you know what I'm saying.

FIFA is the most corrupt organization in the world.

So the idea that our president makes a phone call and suddenly rules are changed, I don't know how it feels a little dirty, but I don't care.

I got to be honest. If he scores tonight, it's not taking away anything from me. But it is...
I don't care at the end of the day because I want to win. And we're not going to win the World Cup, most likely. But if we need a little bit of help, we need a little bit of help. It just does set a weird precedent.
