431, McMonigle here with you on The Carton Show, 888-808-1019. On this Wednesday afternoon, I was thinking about doing the wheel today, but we like the wheel, the Wednesday wheel on a Friday. I think it's, I think the Friday is a good day for it. Wednesday wheel on a Friday is very good. Wednesday wheel on a Friday sounds like the right thing, so we'll wait for Friday. I might do a new wrinkle to it. And the wrinkle just might be playing the game the way actually the game is supposed to be played.
We've been playing it wrong.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:32)
You're throwing something new at us too.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:33)
There's no doubt about it. The way the game was played, which is Spin That Wheel was really Name That Tune, right? He's playing the game Name That Tune. At least that's how it was described to me when we first started.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:44)
And that's where the viral trend comes from, is Name That Tune. And then it turned into a way to bash like Jalen Woods.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:51)
Okay, well I can't speak to the viral.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:53)
Well, I'm young and hip, that's why I'm here.

**Chris McMonigle** (0:55)
And your soccer jerseys tell us.
Anyway, the game is supposed to be played with how many notes or seconds or whatever of hearing the song, can you name the tune, name that tune. So it's supposed to be, we kind of just play it like, here's a category, how many of this category can you name? I can name five, I can name ten, I can name fifteen. But the way Name That Tune is played is I can name that tune in six notes, I can name it in five notes, I can name it in four notes, I can name it in three notes, alright, name that tune. And then there's three notes and you have to guess the tune. So we do it a little bit differently. So I'm thinking maybe Friday since it's a McMonigle Wednesday wheel on Friday.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:33)
The ego's insane.

**Chris McMonigle** (1:35)
Oh, the ego's insane. I'm thinking about changing it and actually playing it the right way, where I'll come up with categories and an answer to a question.
And then I, we will say, in how many hints do you need to answer my question? Or I'll think of a person, we'll have a category like it's been a category used before, which is for argument's sake, 90s Knicks. And I will pick a 90s Nick and I will say the category of 90s, how many hints do you need to guess this 1990s Nick?
I can name that Nick in five hints, I can name it in four hints, I can name it in three hints. I'm trying to, because you two are gonna have to play. Yes, my anxiety is through the roof right now. So you two have to play. And I'm trying to be kind to you. Oh, wow.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:17)
Thanks, Chris.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:18)
I don't want to embarrass you anymore. I don't want you guys embarrassed. I'm trying to, you, you in particular. You were the talk of the 4th of July party that I was at about you not knowing the forefathers. So instead of you not being able to list forefathers, I'll just say, I'm thinking of one forefather.
How many hints do you need? And then if you either get it or you don't, and that's the end of it, we don't have to wait for you just to sit there going, I don't know anymore.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:45)
Be prepared.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:46)
I need a lot of hints. Well, you'll have, that's the game though. You'll have to play the game and see how many hints you need and how tough Gallo is.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:55)
Just talking about this is giving me anxiety.

**Chris McMonigle** (2:57)
But it's better than having to list things. It's just you know it or you don't.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:00)
I think you're enjoying being, knowing you don't have to play the wheel this week.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:04)
I'm doing this for you.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:05)
For us.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:06)
Specifically for you two. Because I don't want to see you embarrassed any longer. I feel bad for you. People think you're stupid. I'll be honest with you.
People think you're stupid.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:14)
Who are these people?

**Chris McMonigle** (3:15)
Believe me.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:15)
I know. Whether it's people who work here, my friends or family, or just strangers.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:22)
I hear it too.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:23)
All the time.

**Chris McMonigle** (3:23)
Believe me. I'm happy. I'm spinning the wheel today on Friday. Believe me.
